Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.

From the sermonDancing · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer teaches that Scripture commands praising God in the dance. Life brings seasons of mourning from death, trouble and sin, but the redeemed come singing to Zion and the church rejoices in the dance as God turns mourning into joy. Israel danced after victories and the Red Sea, the healed man leaped, the prodigal’s return brought dancing, and David danced before the ark.

How does God confirm his word?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Hebrews 2:3–4: salvation was spoken by the Lord and confirmed; God bore witness with signs, wonders, miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit—including tongues. You can’t be a silent saint; the spoken word sets people free.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Remember the Bible says that in Psalms 138 verse 4 that all kings of the earth shall praise you that’s never happened oh. Yeah. So we got something exciting to look forward to and then it says when they’re going to do it when they hear the words of your mouth. When they hear the not men’s doctrines not your opinions not church articles of faith when they hear what the words of your mouth when the Holy Spirit in these last days begins to speak through his church all there’s going to be a period remember there’s not going to be war for a period never happened has it as a lot of things never happened that all these people on the bandwagon he can come any minute there is an appointment.

▶ 0:58 Alleluia and after he gets everything wrapped up that he said would happen all right now Jesus said before the end comes the word of God will be preached as a witness witnesses of proof witnesses of proof the evidence of a court case is going on okay then we have Hebrews 2:3 saying this great salvation spoken by the Lord and what was it done spoken if you’re going to be a silent saint. You’re not going to get much. these politicians are always [unclear] my religion on my sleeve well where do you wear it it’s the spoken word that heals people sets people free makes them wise it’s not the quiet word are you there spoken by the Lord Jesus and go around [unclear] the gospel he was spoken and the apostles they spoke it.

▶ 2:06 Also bearing them what witness God bore witness to the spoken word and how did he bear witness with signs wonders miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost and why people want to argue whether tongues are for today or not just it just it’s beyond my cranial understanding tongues is a gift one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and you’ll believe in healing they’ll believe in the word of wisdom they believe in discern the spirit and then they want to kick out what tongues which is part of [unclear] wisdom word of knowledge discerning [unclear] faith okay healings miracles. Prophecy tongues and interpretation of tongues their languages is a better word and interpretation of languages and God did this folks don’t we want to see that today well we got to start speaking the word.

Scripture (NKJV)

Hebrews 2:3-4 (NKJV)

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

— Hebrews 2:3-4 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 0:58

Can we turn the Spirit’s gifts on and off?

▶ Watch this part (3:11)

Short answer: No—they spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance. You can’t force or pretend it, but you can seek him to do his will. Seven times Revelation says: hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:11 People are afraid to speak truth well you know you sound like you’re against everybody well I’m not against everybody but when you preach the word it’s between them and God isn’t that true they got to decide what they’re going to do with the word can’t alter the word so I have everybody liking me. What God wants to do is set people free and now. This is an important thing according to whose will his own will you can’t turn this on and off you will just name it and claim it we went through that us old-timers naming and claiming syndrome you know the rebuke the [unclear] syndrome we go through we went through all kinds of seasons that just really. Hindered the things of God okay.

▶ 4:06 Folks this can only be done they spoke on tongues on the day of Pentecost as the spirit gave them what utterance otherwise they’d have kept their mouth shut God does those things according to his will you can’t force it you can’t pretend it but you can seek him to do his what will and this is what this message is all about. Touching God to where he releases his will in his church and in your life seven times in Revelation it says hear what the spirit says to the church what’s the interpretation of that do I need a greek and hebrew dictionary do I need a commentary. Seven times he’s saying what hear what the spirit saith and his word is spirit and the spirit never goes outside the word amen.

▶ Watch this part (5:11)

Short answer: Psalm 149:3: praise his name in the dance. Psalm 150:4: praise him with the tambourine and dance. He began practicing in his bedroom and took a few services to break out at church.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 5:11 Would you like to hear what the spirit said to you yeah would you like to hear what the spirit says to the mountainside congregation yes to Elsinore that’s what changes people they can reject it they can quench it they can grieve the spirit but the key is to get what in. Contact with God where the spirit is talking and that changes people’s lives alleluia everybody is trying to take you different directions the spirit only has one direction upward into his image [unclear]. Hallelujah now Psalms 149 verse 3 these real complicated scriptures these complex scripture so difficult to understand praise his name in the dance praise whose name.

▶ 6:04 Jesus’ name praise his name by what dancing. 150 verse 4 praise him with the tambourine and dance now what does he mean. think about it. Consider how you were brought up right it means people to praise God boast of God brag on God honor God with the dance. When I read this in my bedroom at home as a young Christian I go God you really mean that so in my worship time in my bedroom I started practicing dancing wow it worked I didn’t have to be drunk or anything in the spirit I could just praise God in the dance and he lifted me up to higher places are you there and then when they brought it in the church where I was going to I’m sitting there no this can’t happen in public.

What times of mourning does life bring?

▶ Watch this part (7:14)

Short answer: Ecclesiastes 3:4: a time to mourn and a time to dance. Death (Rachel weeping, Matthew 2:18), tribulation (John 16:33; Job 2:10), job loss, divorce and illness bring mourning, but it doesn’t last a lifetime. He says he was once given 30 days to live.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:14 This is for the prayer closet yeah is it this is for the secret talk so it took me a few services to break out in the service in the church even though I’d been doing it in my bedroom you see how our thinking hinders Ecclesiastes 3 to everything there is a season a time for every purpose under heaven a time to mourn and a time to dance. That dance with the music and the joy and the singing. heals the mourning. Mourning does not have an influence on the joy mourning comes because of some situation in your life you’re having a season of pain but dance will drive away the mourning. Alleluia there’s a time to be born at a time to die well you like it or not. You didn’t get to choose your parents [unclear] and you don’t get to choose the time of your death live with it and if he takes you young that’s his choice but he promised you 70 to 80 years now death is the time of mourning Matthew 2:18 Rachel weeping for her children because they were no more the time of mourning and these syrian women just found that the hospital with her kids were had been bombed and their kids are dead how many know that’s a mournful time.

▶ 8:39 How many are thankful that it won’t last a lifetime that joy and dancing and music will drive that pain out hallelujah life’s tragedies is another one John 16:33 in the world you will have tribulation hardships you’re going to have problems and troubles Job 2:10 shall we accept good from the hand of God and not trouble you know Christians just want to go through life without any. Hindrances everybody liking them loving them speaking good treating them good and it’s a fantasy. And then you’re going to have problems Jesus said be of good cheer I have overcome the world ok and this guy lost his Job he hadn’t saved up any money and all and he’s out of work that’s a tough time to go through especially if you’re a man and there’s.

▶ 9:38 Something built in us men to provide for that home and you know take care of our family and then when those finances [unclear] a man can go into depression and anxiety [unclear] okay and it hurts at the time of hurts then you got a relationship to split up or a divorce where they are a married couple that’s separated or they divorce it’s a pain [unclear] a painful time very painful but it doesn’t last long oh yeah and I can tell you from my life experiences that the scriptures work all right. This guy just got information that he had terminal cancer there’s nothing they could do I’ve been there too they told me I had 30 days to live Rebecca just about died right there [unclear]..

Does sin bring mourning?

▶ Watch this part (10:42)

Short answer: Romans 6:23: the wages of sin is death. Revelation 21:8: the cowardly, unbelieving, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and liars face the lake of fire. Galatians 6:7–8: what you sow you reap. He shows drinking, drugs and STDs bring pain only Jesus’ blood drives out.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:42 Let me tell you this word works hallelujah I’m still alive as you can see. Romans 6:23 the wages of sin that there’s an area area of mourning and sin the wages of sin is death Revelation 21:8 the cowardly the unbelieving the abominable the murderers sexually immoral sorcerers idolaters and all liars [unclear] shall Find their place suffer be punished in the lake of fire which is the what second death and it lasts forever ain’t nobody coming out of there you made your choice here on earth you better make a good one it’s an eternal one okay that’s that’s that’s a that’s a mournful thing when you hear that message man I’m going to burn in hell that was painful right that got you deep inside didn’t it yeah.

▶ 11:45 But he doesn’t have to wait to the second death he also says in Galatians 6:7 whatever a man sows that shall he reap so if you reap to the flesh if you sow to the flesh I mean what you sow you shall reap you will of the flesh reap corruption. Ruin you’re going to reap problems in your life but if you sow to the spirit which is also the word of God you will have eternal life and eternal life is also to what not just living forever but eternal life has two. Definitions in the Bible what’s the second one. Wow we forgot this huh. This is eternal life that you may know God and his son Jesus Christ and knowing God the scripture says is walking in his ways oh yeah and when you walk in his ways you’re going to have a prosperous successful life no matter what the troubles come your way amen.

▶ 12:59 Alright. So here we have this girl passed out I’ve seen it in Detroit over and over they go to a party they get drunk they get raped while they’re drunk but they came to the party. Over and over then the next day well I was drunk it was seriously I was drunk I was drunk [unclear]. Next party they had another girl ready to come in and make the transition. Drinking drugs tobacco is killing people all over the world destroying their life and not just death accidents and sicknesses and diseases oh my God. This is. Two. Different sexually transmitted diseases young people today they read a lot and they think if they have oral sex you know they won’t get pregnant that’s true and they won’t get sexually transmitted disease as well guess what this is herpes and this is another one both are incurable they’re stuck with that the rest of their life and some of these cause death okay see.

When is it time to dance?

▶ Watch this part (14:19)

Short answer: When we’re redeemed. Jeremiah 31:11–12: the Lord has redeemed Jacob and ransomed him; they shall come and sing in the height of Zion—the church—and flow together to the goodness of the Lord.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:19 That brings pain that brings mourning you know and you can put rock music on and whoever the you can go to movies you’re not going to drive out that mourning the only thing that’s going to drive out that mourning that pain that sorrow is the blood of Jesus amen. Yeah. And then here is the eternal lake of fire now. Enough mourning let’s get on with the good stuff a time to dance when is there a time to dance God says a time to dance when is there a time to dance when we’re redeemed and our name is written in the book of life [unclear] get out of my way alleluia I found to walk with God was a joyful walk.

▶ 15:23 That’s what I found now Jeremiah 31 picks it up there’s a the action then there’s going to be a reaction and then there’s going to be a class action God’s action the Lord has what past tense redeemed Jacob Jacob was the father of all 12 tribes to all the people of God and ransom bought him from the hand of him that was stronger than he now. Satan was stronger than us and Jesus died on the cross to redeem us purchase us we were a slave to the kingdom of darkness slaves to sin and Satan he came along and bought us purchased us with his life with his blood alleluia that’s the action God took when people accept that believe it their reaction is therefore what’s therefore mean.

▶ 16:21 for that reason so when you see therefore ask yourself why it’s there for okay because of that reason they. They that have been redeemed in ransom shall come and sing last week sing praises unto God sing praises sing praises to our king sing praises what’s the interpretation sing praises. Don’t need to go to seminary or anything to learn these scriptures all right so they’re singing well praise is where in the height the high places of Zion what’s Zion according to Hebrews 12 the church Zion is the church of the firstborn who’s the firstborn Jesus Christ alleluia. Amen.

Scripture (NKJV)

Jeremiah 31:11-12 (NKJV)

For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, And ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the LORD— For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all.

— Hebrews 12:22-23 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 17:02 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What is the goodness of the Lord?

▶ Watch this part (17:17)

Short answer: The wheat, wine and oil: wine makes glad the heart (Psalm 104:15)—joy as a daily possession; oil makes the face shine—attractiveness, as with Ruth and David; bread strengthens.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:17 So they’re going to come to church they’re going to sing and they’re going to walk flow together in church we’re in church and what are they doing in church singing what praises unto who Jesus praising his name praising him praise in the Bible oh yeah. Throw out these morbid songs and get light songs into the [unclear] I don’t care if they’re number one on the Christian hit parade I want to meet with God I’m not wanting to meet with a singer I’m not wanting to meet with the latest song that come out I’m wanting to meet with God and I need songs to get me there could I get an amen all right and they flow together and when they flow together singing the goodness of the Lord comes how many want the goodness of the Lord yeah then he says what the goodness is.

▶ 18:22 the wheat the wine and oil is the goodness oh yeah. what’s the wine well we find Psalms 104 verse 15 wine makes glad the heart of man so let’s enjoy the Lord the joy of the Lord is my strength yet you experience it joy is an experience it’s a possession is not something you just experience when you have a birthday and somebody buys you something nice that you like it is something that you have every day every hour of every day hallelujah. Then you got the oil to make his face to shine now Ruth before she went in to Boaz to try to get him to marry her.

▶ 19:14 [unclear] by her mother-in-law. Am I right. The matchmaker mother-in-law and they experience these women trying to matchmake you what you [unclear] and they invite so and so on this so and so and then you come in and you know there you are oh oh oh yeah so what did [unclear] she anointed herself with oil you guys call it makeup and whatever but it made her attractive it is a real cheap part of the olive oil it isn’t the cooking part and they used it to anoint their face in their body it was perfume so they smell good but not where you could smell them a hundred feet away yeah.

▶ 20:09 Are you there. David oiled himself before he went into the presence of God after his son died he put oil on him why he wanted to be attractive to the Lord see this is the attracting part of the Holy Spirit he is holy he is righteous and that makes you attractive hello there are you out there. And people aren’t attracted to crime unless they’re criminals. they’re attracted to the people that treat them right and speak good [unclear] to the community it’s the attractiveness and this is what the Pentecostals needed to learn back there. Anyway and the.

▶ 21:06 Wheat is. Made into bread ground up made into bread and bread his food the bread the food which what strengthens you see I worked up here yesterday trying to get the erosion away at the end of the day I was weak but I went home and had a BLT and [unclear] I was alive again. Amen oh. [unclear]. Now. That’s the goodness of the Lord so don’t we want that do you want to just come to church and go home now we need the word of God we want the joy expressed and we want the attractiveness that draws people to our Christ amen yes.

▶ Watch this part (22:12)

Short answer: The young of the flock and herd—children, including other people’s children, and baby Christians. Their soul shall be like a watered garden and they shall not sorrow anymore.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 22:12 Alleluia now and the young of the flock and of the herd here it is again God is always concerned about children. Always concerned about children and churches should be concerned about everybody’s children not just the church’s children these rascals come in and try to steal what’s in your purse and these rascals to come in and steal the better coat that this kid had and replace it with [unclear] we’ve got to reach the children and baby Christian you know we want to annihilate baby Christians when we were in China we were in a spiritual church and they had a testimony time and this guy got up and he given a testimony about prayer and I swear I didn’t understand a thing he said you remember that [unclear] and my interpreter just mocked him laughter because my interpreter didn’t believe and the baptism of the Holy Ghost was speaking in tongues and power he didn’t believe in miracles and healings for today and he said that publicly didn’t he said we got medicine we don’t need that.

What is the “class action” of Jeremiah 31:13?

▶ Watch this part (23:18)

Short answer: Then shall the virgin—the church—rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together; I will turn their mourning into joy and comfort them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 23:18 Yeah tell that to that terminal cancer guy. Hello. Hallelujah. Yeah. their soul their spirits shall be as a watered garden and they shall not sorrow anymore at all that’s the reaction I come and do a thing it’s praises and the goodness of God comes upon me and I’m changed into his likeness until I die and receive eternity. Now the class action you know what a class action is it is a court case that all the other court cases in that realm are based on and here’s the class action. Action reaction class action all right from God’s people then at that time at what time we’re redeemed we are ransom we flow together we receive the goodness of the Lord and we focus on the young of the flock and of the herd the babies and children at that time shall the what virgin who’s the virgin the church espoused as a virgin unto one husband Jesus Christ our Lord.

▶ 24:43 then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance alleluia are you there both young men and old men together [unclear] us old folks have not retired from praising God. Alleluia young people [unclear] I will turn their what mourning into joy one mourning this mourning of sin that we were experiencing before we were redeemed I’m going to turn that into what joy and any other mourning you may go through life’s tragedies or whatever I’m going to turn their mourning into joy I’m going to comfort them and I’m going to make them fashion them fashion it does not mean make like a [unclear] it’s not that make its the potter make I’m going to make them fashion them into people that will rejoice [unclear] alleluia I don’t know about you but I like this stuff.

Did Israel dance after winning battles?

▶ Watch this part (25:56)

Short answer: 1 Samuel 18:6–7: the women came out of all the cities singing and dancing with tambourines, answering one another. At the Red Sea, Miriam the prophetess led the women with tambourines (Exodus 15:20–21). Hebrews 2:14: through death Jesus destroyed the devil.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 25:56 Now. It also is time to dance is when you win a conflict in first Samuel 18 the women Israel went out to battle the Philistines and they won that skirmish they didn’t win the total war they didn’t conquer the land they just won a battle and drove the Philistines back out of their land and a conflict the women came out after that conflict of all the cities singing and dancing what were they doing singing and dancing that’s what God we’ve learned singing dancing musical instruments to meet king Saul with tambourines with joy with what joy and with. Instruments of music these dancers were playing other instruments besides the tambourine and they were dancing and they’re singing and the women answered one another know the words they responded one to another one group said Saul has slain his thousands the other group replied but then it has slain his ten thousands oh yeah and you know this had expression and if you’re going to express a victory in a war there’s got to be some motions behind it done it done it yeah.

▶ 27:18 You don’t see responsive singing much anymore the response to sing in the Bible is. There. Is. now a time to dance is when God executes the miracle and the Jews come out of Egypt and the red sea was part it’s a miracle they got across from the other side on dry land the dry lands a miracle the parting of the seas of miracle them getting across as a miracle and then the egyptian army came in to the red sea and kind of killed him and all that and God performed another miracle the red sea closed in and destroyed Israel’s enemy literally destroyed them all right Hebrews 2:14 says that through death Jesus destroyed the Devil who had the power death.

▶ 28:16 alleluia I don’t need no red sea I’ve already got my red sea and where is it Jesus on the cross he destroyed Satan but Satan’s doing all this [unclear] Satan has been destroyed when you become a believer he’s been destroyed all they can do is accuse you I can do is roar at you he has no claws no teeth to devour you at all oh yeah. Now. So after this happened and Exodus 15:20 Miriam the prophetess the prophetess a woman prophesied when they’re supposed to be silent in the church wow good gosh what’s going on so I feel sorry for people that want to restrict women because when you go to Indonesia when you go to China when you go to a lot of these places guess the the majority of the churches who the leader is [unclear] women.

▶ 29:17 Doesn’t seem to bother God at all and I mean things are happening in these [unclear] all right she took a tambourine. And when she went out all the women go yeah it’s time to dance they grabbed their tambourines and they went out and they were dancing and singing and this is what they were singing. Miriam answered it was a response sing to the Lord for he has triumphed gloriously the horse and the rider has he thrown into the sea remember the man that was healed the lame man at the gate what did he do after he was he has been there all of his life what did he do he was leaping praising God you’re going to tell him he’s out of order he just got what he just won he just got a miracle from God a miracle and you want him to sit there like a dead tree.

Is there dancing when a stray believer returns?

▶ Watch this part (30:19)

Short answer: Luke 15:20–25: the father ran to meet the prodigal, said my son was dead and is alive, lost and found, and they began to be merry with music and dancing. Psalm 30:11: you have turned my mourning into dancing.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 30:19 And he was excited why a miracle happens and it’s just natural to be thankful isn’t it and to praise the one who did it now. when a stray believer repents returns and restored to God a stray believer yes all kinds of folks and Luke 15:20 the prodigal son took all of his money his inheritance went out and squandered it in horrible living and he came to his senses came back to father’s house and the father welcomed him and said my son was dead when he left the house he was dead when you leave Jesus you are dead whether you seem to have life or not we’re talking about spiritually dead and he was lost and is found.

▶ 31:20 And they threw a celebration party and began to be what merry oh. What a mournful time now brother no time to get down here you repent for forty days and forty nights. Yeah. You know you you go to mourn then you got to get you gotta get with well cry out to God no it happened just like that as quick as the prodigal turn the father went out to meet him didn’t he wait for him to get to the house and now right went out to meet him accepted him he repented that I’m not worthy oh no I messed up the father accepted it and they threw a party of celebration well the elder brother was out in the field while all this was going on and he came and drew nigh to the house and he heard music and what they say dancing in the [unclear] and that’s the new testament guess what you just seen it.

▶ 32:29 See some people to get out of and to use an excuse for disobeying God said what that’s in the Old Testament well what did Jesus preach from folks old testament.. what the apostles preached from old testament where do they learn all this stuff they had and the Old Testament. All right but it’s in the New Testament and so here is a. son we are sons of God who rebelled against the father went his own way and came back repented and was restored to God and they threw a celebration with music and dancing Psalm 30 verse 11 you have turned my mourning into dancing for me amen this guy was mourning in the pigpen all of his friends left him when the money was gone and I mean he was in great despair he was having a painful life and now when he’s restored God turned his what mourning into dancing.

Luke 15:20-25 (NKJV)

“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.

How did David bring back God’s presence?

▶ Watch this part (33:41)

Short answer: 1 Chronicles 15; 2 Samuel 6: with singers, musicians and dancing. David danced with all his might, leaping and whirling; Michal saw him and despised him in her heart—looking at people instead of the ark.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 33:41 That’s great stuff. [unclear] but the best one is this one I saved the best for last it’s a time to dance to bring God’s presence to his people by way of singing dancing and music. I don’t have to wait for a miracle I don’t have to win a battle I know that his presence will come if I praise him it’s in the book and I’ve experienced it hallelujah. And so dancing singing in music and David is the best example of this first Chronicles 15 and second Samuel 6 the singers they’re going to bring back the ark of the covenant where did God dwell back then on the ark of the covenant between the cherubim okay the presence of God they were bringing back the presence of God where he would speak with them and encounter them so he’s wanting to bring back the presence of God and how did he do it what’s the protocol that we read singing thanksgiving okay the singers and the musicians with all of Israel brought up the ark of the covenant the presence of the Lord was shouting and with music it happened as the ark of the covenant Lord came to the city of David David’s wife looked through a wind window and saw king David dancing.

▶ 35:08 she didn’t see the ark she didn’t see the presence she just looked at what was going on. If she would have looked at the ark if she would have looked at the presence it would have changed her life but instead she’s looking at the people bringing the presence and David out there just dancin and he’s got a little skimpy clothes on [unclear] his wife just ah. David was dancing he was leaping dancing whirling about and it’s scriptural to twirl about. David was doing cartwheels if you know the full interpretation of this hebrew word and he was leaping like that lame man leaping.

Scripture (NKJV)

2 Samuel 6:14-16 (NKJV)

Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. Now as the ark of the LORD came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

What happens when we shun other believers?

▶ Watch this part (36:02)

Short answer: We stop flowing together and lose the goodness of the Lord. He warns not to speak ill of scriptural worship; 1 Corinthians 11: many are weak, sickly and die early for not discerning the Lord’s body. Bear with baby Christians’ mistakes.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:02 And David was playing his harp he was playing music and doing all of this he was a harpist. Okay and. his wife looked and in her heart she despised him despised means she had a strong dislike for David and his behavior of worshipping God to the place this word means you shun them I don’t want anything to do with you David I’ll show you a thing or two. Christians are great at shunning we think of the Amish and the other groups [unclear] that shun people that disagree with them this and folks we do the same thing especially when it comes to worship if we don’t like the Catholics’ worship with their idols and stuff which is all wrong.

▶ 37:10 We shun them we won’t have anything to do with it. Let the Pentecostals do something out of kilter and they goof up and they roll around on the ground and [unclear] jumping over the pews [unclear] that’s disgusting and we shun them and when we shun one another we’re not what flowing together to the goodness of the Lord so what starts diminishing. The word the joy and the attractiveness why because as the goodness of the Lord comes from what flowing together. how many know when you get married you’ll understand this thoroughly that’s why God uses marriage a lot in the Bible you get married out of love and passion and then you’re just going to skate through life now hallelujah and then you find that spouse does things that irritate you they’re disgusting.

▶ 38:26 So you’re shunning. You’re laughing because you know it’s true. Alleluia. So we got to get past. This disliking and shunning people because they don’t do things the way we do this we’ve got a lifetime to grow up all of us to the glory of God and when somebody’s doing something scripturally I would advise you do not speak ill of it because first Corinthians 11 says they’re weak and they’re sickly among you and some of you have died before your time because you don’t discern the lord’s body you’re not treating the believers like you’re supposed to treat them and that.

1 Corinthians 11:30 (NKJV)

What can God’s presence bring?

▶ Watch this part (39:31)

Short answer: Luke 5:17: the power of the Lord was present to heal. Luke 6:19: the multitude sought to touch him, power went out, and he healed them all. Psalm 147:1: praise is good, pleasant and comely; 1 Corinthians 14: do all things to edify, decently and in order.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 39:31 Means in their error baby Christians are going to make mistakes just like our kids do we don’t throw our kids out because they don’t obey us the first time or second time or third time or whatever no normal person would throw their kid out because they haven’t learned manners and learn the right way yet amen [unclear] got the point now this is powerful stuff. Luke 5:17 the power of the Lord was what present to heal them that’s put in there but when you praise him and his presence comes that’s his power and he can do anything he desire and then he healed him the Bible says he healed him why because the power was there to heal if the power wasn’t there to heal he didn’t do anything.

▶ 40:29 Luke 6:19 the whole multitude sought to touch him sought to touch who Jesus. And because there went what virtue power power out of him and healed them all and this is what we haven’t seen in this dispensation in the last day we’ve seen miracles we see the gifts of the spirit in operation but we haven’t seen it on the magnitude that the apostles and Jesus did where the whole multitude was healed and we’re talking about thousands of people in that service in that meeting and there’s no way you can have a line. And take all this time [unclear] can you imagine doing that over 5,000 people you’d be there for a month I.

▶ 41:28 Mean all the faith you need is in the blood of Christ yeah. Alleluia. you know and [unclear] we tried to conjure up the faith so we put faith in our faith do you believe just underneath you really believe yes [unclear] good gracious. The result is in the power not you’re saying you got faith the result is in the power of his presence being there to do what God desires to do amen. And folks we want God to come and do what he desires to do and if we have to humiliate ourselves and humble ourselves by praising him worshipping him and thanking him I think that’s a good sacrifice for the result.

▶ 42:24 Healed them all I’m looking forward to that day I’m hoping that happens in my lifetime Psalms 147:1 it is good its moral to sing praises unto our God. It’s right I mean you agree with that yes there was nothing. Wrong with what those people were doing in any of these videos I gave you and they were sincere they were sincere group it is pleasant it’s pleasing and enjoyable I’ve enjoyed praising God they’ve called me dancing Dave from I was about 22 to present time I’ve been dancing before the Lord for 50 years and praise is comely it’s beautiful it’s attractive beauty is attractive and so what we do should be attractive amen and it should be enjoyable and it should be scripturally right.

▶ 43:27 Hallelujah. First Corinthians 14 the unlearned and the unbeliever think you’re mad if you just speak in tongues with no interpretation if you do anything that doesn’t edify let all things be done to edify build up people and if it’s not building up they just think of what’s the point here these people are nuts okay but all things should be done decently and in order now we have to put up with some mistakes to get to the decency in order. And but we need to do all things only.
