How did Jesus meet the woman at the well?
Short answer: He came alone and she came alone; Jesus said come to the water.
▶ 21:25 You Jesus when Jesus came to the woman at the well he came. Alone and the woman came to the well alone there was no pastor there there even the disciples were not there her friends were not there nobody was there with her and the Lord would say to you today as an individual if you will come to the w waters that only Jesus can supply no one else is there with her just Jesus and just Jesus is all you need today so encounter him let him touch your life and out of your innermost being only he will bring forth the waters of life that you are thirsting.

Scripture in this part
John 4:7 (NKJV)
A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
— John 4:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:25 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What have we learned from the burning bush?
Short answer: Moses turned aside and met God; Jesus would have passed the disciples by. We have a responsibility to respond to God’s tug.
▶ 29:59 Um we recognize the burning bush story and uh we’ve talked about how Moses turned aside and stopped and uh met with God he had a meeting with God and we learned. That uh the disciples on. The whatever sea they were on during the storm it says that Jesus would have passed them by the pe the men on the road to emmas when Jesus was talking to them Jesus was going to continue on and go to the next city but Peter called out to Jesus on the sea and he said if it is you Lord call me out under the sea these men on the road to emmas they stopped Jesus and they constrained him they would not let him go they kept him from going on and we learned that Moses was an example of how we got we have to respond God draws us and he drew Moses by a flame Peter and the disciples were drawn by a man walking on the water the people on the road to emus the two men God was they were drawn by the word that was being spoken into them and we have to respond it is our resp responsibility to respond that.
Scripture in this part
Exodus 3:3 (NKJV)
Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
— Exodus 3:3 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 29:59 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Mark 6:48 (NKJV)
Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by.
— Mark 6:48 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 29:59 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What will God bless a nation by?
Short answer: Righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach; God blesses based on His standard of right and wrong, not ours.
▶ 31:23 Calling that uh word that God is speaking to our hearts and I don’t know if you guys have ever heard that or felt that but I have and I’m sure many of you have felt that before. Amen you’ve felt that tug and that drawing from God how many can agree with that yes we have a responsibility to respond to that tug that drawing from. God going back to the scripture in Exodus chap 2:23 the children grown because of the bondage and they cried out out because of the bondage and God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant we want to remember his covenant this morning before that we have some evil in our day uh as one writer writes cheryl cumley she says the pride flag being placed on the white house was an exploitation of um agreeing with sexual promiscuity animalistic behaviors uh all normal concepts of morality and virtue have been utterly shattered and she has a point when we promote the sin in our government for all the world to see and we say this is good and acceptable and then we kick God right out the door we have a problem and there is an evil that we have to speak against with the gospel of Jesus Christ in Proverbs chap 14:34 it says that righteousness exalts a nation but sin brings
▶ 32:54 a reproach to any people and it’s important that we recognize that no matter how we feel about issues and how no matter how we feel about the current issues in our day God has a standard of right and wrong and he is going to bless a nation based on his what. Standard not our standard not what we think is true his standard and it says he’s going to bring correction a reproach it’s a reproach ro to any people sin is a reproach when we promote that we went from we went from allowing it to accepting it to now we’re promoting it and so it’s important for us to. Recognize what God’s opinion is and make sure that we’re on his side and with these things going on we also want to cry out we want to groan and say say God hear our cry and that’s what we’ve been doing I want we have to keep doing it they had to do it in Israel for a long time before God responded but we got to let our cry come up to him.
Scripture in this part
Proverbs 14:34 (NKJV)
Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.
— Proverbs 14:34 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 32:54 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What does God promise in Ezekiel 36?
Short answer: I will cleanse you with water, give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you, causing you to walk in My statutes.
▶ 34:12 Amen Ezekiel chapter 36:25 I will clean you with water I will give you a new heart remove your heart of stone put a new spirit within you I will cause you to walk in my statutes and will keep and you will keep my judgments and do them so God it says he has remembered his covenant and he had a covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob that he would bring them into his promised land but God has made a covenant with all the people of the earth. Everyone his new covenant he has made with both Jew and Gentile and this is it right here that no matter what dirt shame ugliness that we have in our lives lives he has the power to clean it I will clean you with water no matter what the state of our spiritual man our spiritual heart is God can replace it with a new heart no matter if it’s rock hard stone and lifeless he can give you a new heart God is reminding us of his promise for all of the world and that promise is still in effect right now I will put a new spirit within you how many need a new spirit we’re going to learn why we need a new.
Scripture in this part
Ezekiel 36:25-27 (NKJV)
Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
— Ezekiel 36:25-27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 34:12What drives away darkness?
Short answer: The Spirit; Christians are living with a lot of darkness and must tap into the Spirit, built on the only foundation, Jesus Christ.
▶ 35:34 Spirit and that spirit will drive away the spirit of darkness the spirit will drive away it’s it’s that’s what’s supposed to do I mean Christians are living with a lot of darkness and we don’t we got to tap into the spirit of God are we are we bringing the spirit of God to address the darkness that we have affecting our mind and our heart that’s very important we have gone to men’s solutions but have we gone to God’s. Solution his Spirit it’s. Important I will cause you to walk in my statutes and you will keep my judgments and do them so from this new heart and this new spirit he’s going to cause us he’s going to move us he’s going to equip us enable us to walk in his ways.
▶ 36:34 1 Corinthians chapter 3:1 according to the grace of God which was given to me as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation and another builds on it for no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid which is who Jesus Christ it’s important to understand that from the beginning from the first man and the human body has worked the same since the beginning the human body has always needed blood the human body has always needed uh to breathe the air from outside the human body has always needed to be clean and free from bacteria from the elements you you got to keep yourself clean it is always work the same and it’s important to recognize that no matter what God is doing no matter what new thing God is doing whether he’s moving in another area another country the new covenant is foundational and important to put your life to begin your spiritual life.
Scripture in this part
1 Corinthians 3:10-11 (NKJV)
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
— 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:34Why did they wash the sacrifice?
Short answer: The entrails and legs were washed with water; God will clean us with water too, and we all need the new covenant.
▶ 37:41 On and no matter what God is doing in 2023 or 2024 or the next century we all need the new covenant. Amen. In Leviticus 1:9 he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water what are you talking about they would take the sacrifice and they would they would cut it up and they would take the entrails and they would wash it with water and after they washed it with water they would burn it on the altar and you might think to yourself why did they wash it with water if they were just going to burn it because it is an ex example is an example that we that God comes and he washes our inner man and cleans it when we get baptized acts chap 22: 16 arise and be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord we know this there’s tons of other examples that we need to be baptized.
Scripture in this part
Leviticus 1:9 (NKJV)
but he shall wash its entrails and its legs with water. And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the LORD.
— Leviticus 1:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 37:41Is your heart a heart of stone?
Short answer: Is it angry, resentful, bitter or proud? A heart of stone isn’t pumping Christ’s blood through your spiritual man; take God up on His promise.
▶ 38:53 Amen God will clean us with that water water Ezekiel 36:26 I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh and God is asking us this morning is our heart hard is it angry is it resentful is it bitter is it sorrowful is it hopeless do you have a proud heart a hoty heart. Arrogant a heart that is lifeless are you so numb to life or to God then that you’ve flatlined and your heart’s not. Beating you know just because you have a heart that’s red and looks like flesh if it’s not beating it’s not. Working God wants to give you a heart transplant in Ephesians chapter 21 you have you he made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins in which you once walked according to the course of this world so you have a heart that may be dead this is the new covenant God will take your dead heart and he will give you a new heart your dead heart does not work what is the heart meant to do in the natural it’s meant to pump the blood throughout your body.
▶ 40:18 And if your spiritual man does not have a new heart and it’s a heart of stone it is not working it is not pumping the blood of Jesus Christ to every extremity of your man of your spiritual man so what God has done and his promise is that he will fashion he will fabricate he will create with his own hand with his own words a new heart for you. Customade for you now you know we’re not talking about the natural heart right when you accept accept Jesus Christ you’re not going to look wake up and see oh something cut in me today no we’re talking about the mind we’re talking about the spiritual heart that God h has given you and when you look back on after you’ve been given a new heart you’ll realize that your mind made a change and that change came from Jesus Christ from God almighty giving you a new heart this is his promise and this promise is important because it’s called a covenant he can’t break this.
Scripture in this part
Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV)
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
— Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 38:53What does the blood of Christ do?
Short answer: It purges your conscience; like a bone-marrow transplant from a close match, His blood heals every area of your spiritual man.
▶ 41:31 Promise and we need to take God up on his promises you hear that world you got to take God up on his promises if your heart is angry resentful if it’s not be and your spiritual man is dead take God up on his promise he’ll give you a new heart Hebrews chapter 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to God that blood of Christ will what does that word say. Purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living. God I don’t know if you know but there’s a disease there’s a blood. Disease and this blood disease will attack the the red blood cells and what these people have to do is they have to take chemotherapy until they’re brought to the brink of death.
▶ 42:27 Till their body is completely destroyed and their blood cells are completely everything’s just dismantled and what they do is they get somebody who’s really close to their dna and they get a transplant from them into their body and their body starts to make blood based off of that new blood they were given and you see when I would hear this as a kid you know God cleanses us with his blood you know I I would think the blood does not cleanse. Anything you know you can’t if I were to wash this shirt in blood it would be. Destroyed if I had a white shirt washed it clean washed it with his blood you look at that white shirt it’s not going to be white. Anymore but when you think about the body and the blood that is running in your veins and how sin is like a disease and how the blood of Jesus comes in and he begins to.
▶ 43:32 Heal every blood vessel every area with his powerful blood in your spiritual man that makes sense and that’s what Jesus has done he’s come and he has the power to purify your inner man by his blood and we need to take Jesus up on his offer John 3:17 God did not send his son to the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved see Jesus’s blood is that conduit that saves us Jesus’s blood being brought to every part of our spiritual man is what brings us. Life his death on the cross his resurrection acts chapter 4:30 by stretching out your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant.
▶ 44:28 Jesus and so here again it’s saying through Jesus Christ he heals and just like healing signs and wonders were done through Jesus Christ Christ has made a way for your spiritual man to be healed by his blood the disease has crept in Christ has come with his blood to first of all cover it and then he kills that or he’ll get rid of that uh bad blood he’ll purify you and we got to take God up on all of his steps don’t leave anything out. Amen uh we know that if you do not have blood supply if you do if you cannot get blood to the end of your toes you’re going to have a problem. Right if you cannot get blood your brain you’re going to have a problem amen.
Scripture in this part
Hebrews 9:14 (NKJV)
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
— Hebrews 9:14 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 41:31John 3:17 (NKJV)
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
— John 3:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 43:32Where is the life?
Short answer: The life of the flesh is in the blood, and the blood of Jesus has the life you need; He is the way, the truth and the life.
▶ 45:27 And so it’s important very important that we have that blood supply of Jesus Christ flowing in our spiritual man Leviticus 17:11 for the life of the flesh is in the blood the blood of Jesus Christ has the life that you need Jesus said to him I am the way the truth and what the life he is that life and this example that blood of Jesus Christ gives gives you life no one comes to the father except through me Jesus Christ has made a way to bring a healing power to every part of your being through his what blood through him so you you you see these uh these scriptures through me I am the life through me God has made a way Christ has made a way through him it says in Ezekiel chap 3.
Scripture in this part
Leviticus 17:11 (NKJV)
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’
— Leviticus 17:11 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:27John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
— John 14:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 45:27How do the blood, the heart and the Spirit relate?
Short answer: God breathed into man and he became a living soul; the Spirit is like oxygen the blood carries, and His words are spirit and life.
▶ 46:27 627 I will put my spirit within you now this is important it’s important to understand the relationship between the blood and the the new heart and the spirit so if you’re not paying attention please I ask you pay attention Genesis 2:7 the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living soul talking about Adam. So this breath is also important now and you’ll understand why if you and you may know why already the spirit of God is like oxygen okay the blood that you have flowing in your body is no good without what. Oxygen you need.
▶ 47:22 Oxygen you have you have taken so many breath since you got here and every breath that you took the oxygen went into your lungs and the the blood that’s uh in your lungs absorb that oxygen and it’s taking it throughout your body and that’s what the spirit of God is Jesus Christ has made a way through his blood to get that oxygen and distribute it throughout your spiritual man. John 663 it is what the spirit who gives life the flesh profits nothing Leviticus chap 1711 the life is in the blood so we take a moment here to recognize that when it’s saying the life is in the blood it’s talking about that oxygen is in the blood the blood transports what oy oxygen so Jesus Christ with his blood coupled with the oxygen or the spirit of God will bring life to your inner man but it’s under it’s important to understand what all that means John.
▶ 48:42 663 clearly starts to define what that means he says what the what words that I speak to you are what spirit and they are. Life we want to take a moment and recognize that your body right now your natural body that you are walking in living in breathing in doing all the bad stuff we do in and the good stuff too you are a walking example. Of what God wants to do in your spiritual man he wants your blood to flow properly he wants that oxygen to come into your lungs and be distributed that’s exactly what God wants to do with your spiritual man by his blood and by his Spirit.

Ezekiel 36:27 (NKJV)

— Ezekiel 36:27 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:27Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
— Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 46:27John 6:63 (NKJV)
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
— John 6:63 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 48:42How do we breathe spiritually?
Short answer: Hearing is like breathing; the Spirit of truth guides into all truth, and he who has ears to hear, let him hear.
▶ 49:48 John 16:13 the spirit of truth will guide you into all truth for he will not speak on his own authority but whatever he hears he will speak he tells you the things to come Matthew 11:15 he who has an ear to hear let him hear the action of hearing is like. Breathing the breath of God so when you hear the word of the Lord what you’re doing is you’re breathing in your spiritual man you’re in you’re you’re allowing that oxygen to flow to the blood so if you are stopping your ear from hearing the word of the Lord from reading the scriptures from hearing a sermon from taking time to get on your knees and ask God what do are you saying to me in my life if you’re going to stop all that and remove and cut yourself off from that what you’re doing is you’re holding your spiritual.
Scripture in this part
John 16:13 (NKJV)
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
— John 16:13 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 49:48Matthew 11:15 (NKJV)
He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
— Matthew 11:15 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 49:48What does Ezekiel 37 show?
Short answer: God caused breath to enter dry bones and they lived; the new heart and Spirit only work when we listen and respond.
▶ 50:54 Breath and you are not breathing. Spiritually Ezekiel chapter 37 will help us understand this a little more oh dry bones what does he say. Here the word of the Lord thus says the Lord God to these bones I will cause what breath to enter into you and you shall live but what is he say first he says hear the word of the Lord and he’s saying that that hearing of the word of the Lord is like the breath of God that will enter into you I submit to you. Today please do not try to take the blood without the Spirit please do not try to accept a new heart without his spirit or sometimes we want to just take the blood of Jesus and not breathe we don’t want the spirit of God we don’t want him telling us what to do we just want to take his blood.
▶ 52:05 They must work together you we have to take God up on his promise his promise is that he’ll give you a new heart and he’ll put his spirit in you but it only works when you will listen when you will respond when you will hear the spirit of God speaking and respond to it he speaks through his word he speaks. Uh. His his voice will speak to. You and God is asking us today are we shutting him. Off are we stopping our ears like steven said to the Sanhedrin are you are we resist resisting the Holy.
Scripture in this part
Ezekiel 37:4-5 (NKJV)
Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
— Ezekiel 37:4-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 50:54Do you want to stay on a spiritual hospital bed?
Short answer: No; don’t be a Christian always needing a transfusion because you won’t breathe. Jesus breathed on them: receive the Holy Spirit.
▶ 52:57 Spirit we don’t want to be like a person in the hospital that is always needing a drug blood transfusion constantly because we won’t breathe do you understand that process if you don’t breathe the oxygen doesn’t flow throughout the body and so people in their Christian life will lie in the hospital and get it the needle in their arm and they just say Jesus forgive me and they go about their life and they keep sinning and they go back back in the hosp Jesus forgive me their spiritual man is. Stuck lying in a spiritual hospital bed because they will not open their ears and respond to God’s. Word they will not hear the word of the Lord and let that breath of God come into them there’s a scripture in the Psalms that says I can leap over I can run through a troop and leap over a wall don’t you want to have a spiritual man that can do.
▶ 54:03 Anything don’t you want to have a spiritual man who is strong who can get up who can rise up who can run through a troop and leap over a wall. Amen Jesus came and stood in the and said to them peace be with you and when he said this he breathed on them and said to them receive the Holy Spirit Jesus Christ after he rose from the grave he came to that room he appeared in that room and he gave them his spirit he breathed on them and he gave it by his words he said peace be with you receive the Holy. Spirit how many know it’s important for us to surrender it’s important for us to surrender to his words to allow him to breathe on us it’s important for us to open up our ears to hear the word of the Lord and let his breath enter our spiritual man and give us.
Scripture in this part
Psalm 18:29 (NKJV)
For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.
— Psalm 18:29 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:03 (quoted; reference not named in the message)John 20:19-22 (NKJV)
Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
— John 20:19-22 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 54:03Is God’s heart enough?
Short answer: Yes; the heart He fashioned is more than enough. You are a new creation, and the word of God is living and powerful.
▶ 55:11 Life God is calling us to get disconnected from the spiritual hospital. Bed get a new heart that pumps on its own you don’t need assistance cuz God’s heart is good enough God’s heart is more than enough the one that he custom and fashioned for you is more than enough to keep your spiritual man living and beating and and pushing that blood throughout your body and when you hear the word of the Lord you are allowing that spirit to come and and breathe into you and when you take on this new heart and this spirit that he’s put in you it says if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation the result is that you become a new person old things have passed away behold all things have become new the dry bones and the the valley of dry bones you can go read about that if you’ve never heard the story how many know you look back at the valley of dry bones you look like I was over there I was lying in that.
▶ 56:20 Valley but now I’m what I’m alive what are you you’re a new creation you know there’s a big difference between the person standing here in the v in the valley of the dry bones you’re a new creation you become new Hebrews chapter 4:12 the word of God is living and powerful no matter. What anyone tells you when you open up the scriptures and you take time for yourself to put God’s word into you and you ask God hey God Lord I pray that you would make your word alive he’s going to make it. Alive and just reading it it’s going to be powerful I would suggest you start with the New Testament if you’ve never readen God’s if you’ve never read God’s word before start with the New Testament start putting God’s word into you start hearing the word of the Lord.
Scripture in this part
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 56:20 (quoted; reference not named in the message)Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
— Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 56:20How can I really hear the word?
Short answer: Not like background music in a gym; he reads it out loud so his mind reads, his lips speak and his ears hear it.
▶ 57:15 And here we’re not just saying you know let the words you know you can go into a a gym you can go to a store and they’re playing music that that’s not the kind of hearing right you know I don’t you can walk through stuff and you’re not even paying attention to the music going on what you’re doing is you’re listening you’re allowing his word to come into you you’re taking it in you’re you’re using your mind to say what is it saying what how do I apply. This you’ve got to hear that. Word because uh we all know that we’ve gotten we’ve opened up our bibles before we read them and I can tell you I’ve done this many of times I’ve read through four pages and I’m like what did I just read I don’t even know what I read my mind just read everything and I have no recollection something about Jesus did something somewhere the Lord he’s up there that’s all I.
▶ 58:14 Got okay you got to find a way to get your heart open to hear the word of the Lord I find that if I speak it out loud then my mind has read it I can hear myself speaking. It and on my lips had to utter the words so there’s three things that you did to hear the word your mind read it you spoke these words into the atmosphere and your ears heard what you spoke okay it it might be helpful for you I’m just saying if you need some solutions if you don’t have a problem good for you but if you want to hear God’s word remember you want that word to get in you you want it to affect. You it’s living and it’s.
How did Saul respond when Jesus spoke?
Short answer: He didn’t say I hate You or leave me alone; he asked who are You, then was baptized and received the Holy Spirit.
▶ 59:10 Powerful God has a new covenant a new covenant promise with all of creation all of his people both Jew and Gentile I submit to you today that Saul of Tarsus. When Jesus met him on the road to. Damascus Jesus said to him Saul. Saul why are you persecuting me and from that moment from when Jesus first spoke to Saul Saul started to breathe and the breath of God started to enter. Saul and Saul he says I was the chiefest sinner I was the worst person in in all the world but when I met Jesus on the road to Damascus he started to speak to me and I started to.
▶ 1:00:05 Breathe I heard his word his word started to enter me and what was the first thing that Saul said do you. Remember he didn’t. Say I hate you he didn’t say get out of here he didn’t say leave me. Alone what did he say to Jesus he said who are. You. Amen how many know that’s a right. Response and from that. Moment he says who are you Lord and Jesus says I’m Jesus whom you’re. Persecuting and so Paul Saul at that moment he starts to breathe and the breath of God is in him and that spirit is starting to.
▶ 1:01:04 Awaken and he goes back and he’s blind because he can’t see and uh Jesus sends Ananias to the house and Saul he gets baptized and he gets the Holy Spirit all right there why because he’ve heard God’s voice. And he. Responded he was all gung-ho and he was he was going hard after what he thought was true until God breathed life into him. Lazarus he was in the tomb he was a friend of Jesus and he had died and he was in the tomb he was in there for 4 days and if you don’t know tombs are.
Scripture in this part
Acts 9:4-5 (NKJV)
Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
— Acts 9:4-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 59:10Acts 9:17-18 (NKJV)
And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
— Acts 9:17-18 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:01:04 (quoted; reference not named in the message)What did Jesus do at Lazarus’s tomb?
Short answer: The body was decomposing and stank, but Jesus said roll away the stone and come forth; his blood flowed and he breathed again.
▶ 1:01:57 Dark there’s no. Light tombs have uh creeping crawling things they got worms they got things in there you know they got dirt it’s just the earth and so Lazarus body is it’s uh deteriorating it’s. Decomposing and they said his his body stinks what are you. Doing and Jesus jus said roll away the stone. Amen just like that heart that heart of stone God says he’s going to replace it with a heart of flesh and Jesus said to Lazarus come. Forth and there it is again he. Spoke he spoke and Lazarus even though he was dead somewhere he heard that voice.
▶ 1:02:55 And his body started to heal his blood started to flow in his veins and he started breathing. Again and that’s exactly what we need to do. Today if you’re dead in trespasses and sin God is calling out to you from outside and he’s saying what come forth whatever the word is whatever God says it can be hey get up it can be hey brush your whatever the word is it’s life and you can take that word that he has spoken and you can breathe it and it will awaken. You so I submit to you. Today do not hold your spiritual.
Scripture in this part
John 11:39-44 (NKJV)
Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
