From the sermonBible Truths Only Cons Disagree With 07/29/2018 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer argues that apologetics puts God on trial, and that the Bible calls itself a book of truth, not faith or myth. Using a simple scientific method, he shows that the whole Bible hangs on loving God and loving your neighbor, that love does no harm, and that Christians may bring Bible truth into public life.

What does he mean by Bible truths only cons disagree with?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: A con is someone that lies and deceives to get what they want out of you. There are basic Bible truths you can’t argue with; they’re just facts.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Okay Bible topics Bible truths that only cons disagree with the con is someone that lies and deceives to get what they want out of you okay and there are basic Bible truths that are just. You can’t argue with them they’re just facts all right I have these groups up here listed. About 15 of them that put the Bible on trial. They attack the Bible some of these people that attack the Bible do it under the name of apologetics. Apologetics is the defense of the Bible and I showed you months ago that the Catholics have their apologetics the Muslims have their apologetics the atheists have their apologetics everybody is defending what they believe okay the problem with apologetics is this.

What is the problem with apologetics?

▶ Watch this part (1:03)

Short answer: When we defend God, we put God on trial. God is not on trial and the Bible is not on trial; His word endures forever. Human beings are on trial, and everyone will be judged according to their works.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:03 We’re putting God on trial. You see when you defend God when you go to a courtroom and you got to defend someone that’s accused that person is being judged an apologetics gets sucked in with the atheists they get sucked in with the intelligent minded Christians the intelligent approach Christians to try to defend the Bible against the opponent’s accusations and the minute we do that we put God on trial. God is not on trial folks. The Bible is not on trial his word endures forever who is on trial human beings you see everyone will be judged according to their works whether their deeds be evil or whether their deeds be good does God have any no he’s not on trial see that’s the number-one problem now we think we’re really doing something when we use apologetics and we pass out all this information about the creation and how many animals could get on the floor on the ark and had the Jesus rise from the dead all this stuff but all we’re doing is being sucked into their approach.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

1 Peter 1:25 (NKJV)

But the word of the LORD endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

— 1 Peter 1:25 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:03
Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 2:6 (NKJV)

who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:

— Romans 2:6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:03

What happens if your faith rests on proof that the Bible is authentic?

▶ Watch this part (2:26)

Short answer: Then the more secular information comes against the Bible, the more your faith diminishes, because your faith is in somebody proving the Bible true. Our faith should be in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, period.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 2:26 To their battlefield we’re letting them put God on trial the second problem with apologetics is this if you only believe in Christ because you’ve got enough information to say the Bible is authentic the Bible’s of genuine book then the more secular information that comes to prove the Bible isn’t a genuine book the more your faith faith diminishes because your faith is in somebody proving that the Bible is true. Are you there and our faith should be in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ period amen. Now does that make sense to you don’t get sucked into this apologetics stuff all of these groups use it okay we are going to first.

Is the Bible a book of faith or myths?

▶ Watch this part (3:28)

Short answer: People say the Bible is a book of faith that cannot be proven, and we fall right into their battlefield. God is a spirit, and the Bible is the only book on earth that clearly instructs you about the spirit world.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:28 Prove scientifically and establish that the Bible is a book of truth not faith or myths these people say that the Bible is a book of faith it cannot be proven therefore it cannot be used in the dates okay the Bible is a book of faith they say all right and what do most people say when you talk about religion what we’re in my faith absolutely my faith or the baptist faith or the catholic faith. They got a so brainwash that we fall right in to their battlefield. Myths is false stories or belief in supernatural beings God is a supernatural he’s a spirit being God is spirit okay and the Bible is the only book on earth that clearly instructs you about the spirit world the only one.

How does he use the scientific method on the Bible?

▶ Watch this part (4:35)

Short answer: You ask a question, test it, and come to a conclusion: a law, a fact, or a theory. Evolution is a theory, not a law or fact. He tells how, as a boy in Detroit, he copied a classmate’s way of dressing to get past gangs, and it worked.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:35 All right so we’re going to use the scientific method today’s scientific method has five to six steps he have a question or you have a problem or you make a statement all right then you hypothesize you research to make an educated guess of this question or a problem you experiment or test you observe in your recording you analyze and you share results now when I went to school there was only three steps to this scientific method and let me remind you that the scientific my day was three you had a question or you had a problem you wanted to solve alright then you test the question you test the answer that you you want to get or your experiment and then you come to a conclusion and you decide if it’s a law if it’s a fact or if it’s a theory an idea if it doesn’t work all the time then it is an idea it’s a theory like the atomic theory it’s still a theory why it doesn’t work in every area of science.

▶ 5:49 They have to change the atomic structure the atomic diagram to get to make it understand the boy in thermodynamics rather than electricity and so forth are you with me all right evolution is a theory it’s an idea it’s not a law it’s not a fact all right an example of this is when I was in junior high. Last year junior high there was a boy that came in a colored boy they came in this not like the kids on the street he talked like not not the kids on the street his haircut was not like the kids on the street all the rest of us were just a little herders we just identified whatever what you know what the world this was and the hairstyle was and all that but this colored boy it wasn’t his hair his clothing I mean he came in with his pants with a crease every day he and wear blue jeans and and black slacks or anything he wore preppy coats and he was very smart and articulate and he beat me out in being the top guy in the class every quarter except the last one the last one I got him I had always and he had always in one big and the last quarters walk counted so I gotta a walk.

▶ 7:09 Anyway I left junior high went into summer break preparing to go to Cass Technical high school the number one high school in America at that time top quality high school you had to have an a-average to get in alright. You had to be recommended by someone to get it you couldn’t just get into Cass Tech anyway I. Watched this boy all year and in the summer I decided I’m going to follow this colored boys example I’m going to change my dress change my hair I’m going to change everything because this is the problem I had to go to Cass Tech I got to go through three different gang zones the Red Devils the Stilettos and the [unclear] okay.

▶ 8:07 And if I didn’t do something I wasn’t going to get to school I wasn’t no problem getting to school was coming home and I couldn’t take the bus because I live so close to the school I lived that just short of a mile that the buses were and they just passed me by just pass me by one right after another so happy walk. And so I said and I didn’t know I was using the scientific method but I said you know I’m gonna change I’m gonna start wearing dress clothes and ask my parents to buy me dress pants and a dress shirts to wear to school dress shoes now that was unheard of in Detroit on the streets you know you had to have the style man yeah but when you dress like that you offered attacks from the other people.

How did dressing differently protect him from the gangs?

▶ Watch this part (9:02)

Short answer: A gang stopped him on a bridge; the leader saw his Cass Tech book covers, said “leave him alone,” and from then on he was known as the school boy. He says he was using the scientific method without knowing it.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 9:02 If you showed yourself tough in any way they want to see how tough you were if you showed yourself a whip in any way they wanted to toughen you up so I had to find a neutral thing and so sure enough I went to caste and the second week I was there I got stopped at a [unclear] there was a bridge it went over the freeway on Grand River avenue and as I entered that bridge they entered the bridge I couldn’t run into a store there was nowhere to go if I crossed the street it would tell them I was afraid of him and if they were afraid of if they knew I was afraid of them then they’re going to toughen me up so I had to just keep walking then here’s these malls that they have black gang. Quite a few of them and I knew what was coming they were going to either beat me up because I’m a white boy or they’re gonna rob me or whatever but when.

▶ 9:59 I got to them yeah one or two of them they started walking around me we’re gonna do with this honky I was a word for white boy you know black guys called the white boys hongki’s crackers. Boy but the big guy was standing there looking and then he said do you go to Cass Tech because I had tests to kestech covers on my books that’s another thing I wanted everybody to know I was going to Cass Technical high school the number one high school America at that time all right.

▶ 10:38 Most people could not get into that school and I said yes I go to cass he grabbed one of my books and he thumbed through it. He closed it gave it back to me and says leave him alone and from that day forth the gang leader that said leave him alone I had no problem going through the [unclear] area okay so it worked now that was the first semester we have two semesters a year the second semester I got out at 1:45 well gangs don’t start moving toria clark when schools are out and they want to pick on the school kids and pick up girls and all this stuff so I didn’t have another schedule until my last semester of my 12th grade senior year and I got out of school at five o’clock in the evening because I had chemistry for two hours it was a college course chemistry they actually brought in a professional chemist like they did what other classes like industrial electronics and so forth they would bring in professional people to teach and they could teach because they were they were in the field but this chemist couldn’t come till after school so I didn’t get out of school to five o’clock.

▶ 12:01 The gangs were very active by five o’clock and they were active to about ten eleven o’clock twelve o’clock at night so here I am facing. Seven months of walking home. At five o’clock getting home at 5:30 and sure enough I never got bothered by the [unclear] they never bothered me that’s three years later and the web devils and the Stilettos I only saw one or two at a time and this is the amazing thing over the period of time I became known as the school boy. Wherever I went well walter fff one of the Red Devils or the Stilettos talked to me they called me school kid or school boy that’s the school kid and my.

▶ 13:00 Approach to the problem worked it became effect if I didn’t dress select the punks if I didn’t have her hair like the punks if I did not benefit those punks on the street they didn’t know what to do me that basically left me alone. And when I learned that from the colored kid that came into my last year of junior high. And then can we learn from others now I didn’t know it but I was using the scientific method all right so we’re going to use the scientific method the suffix fic means cause to make or produce and the science as we know is just a synonym for knowledge the science is not a magic word it’s just the word that’s another word for knowledge that’s it so scientific is knowledge.

What does the Bible say it is?

▶ Watch this part (13:58)

Short answer: Jesus prayed that the Father would sanctify them through His truth, and His word is truth. Your word isn’t faith or myth; it is truth. Instead of “my faith” we should say “my truth from the Bible.”

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:58 Producing a method or system knowledge produced by a method or system got it your school kids got it yeah then teach you that in school do they yeah yeah. So we’re ask the question is the Bible a book of faith mists or truths so we observe test and record by going to the Bible reading it finding out what the book says about faith truth and myths is that fair enough we gotta go to the source we got to test it we got to experiment. The. Production to the book stating its subject its scope and its aim or one over three got it every book has a preface introduced in the book telling you what it’s about well the Bible has a preface in John 17:11 Jesus pray father sanctify them through your truth your word is what truth your word isn’t faith you wave isn’t miss your way it is truth.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 17:17 (NKJV)

Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

— John 17:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:58
Scripture (NKJV)

Psalm 119:160 (NKJV)

The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

— Psalm 119:160 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:15

Where does faith come from?

▶ Watch this part (15:16)

Short answer: Faith comes by hearing the word of truth. The word isn’t faith; the word is truth, and you get faith by hearing it. Nowhere does the Bible say it is a book of faith or myths.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 15:16 Say instead of me saying my faith I should be saying my truth from the Bible. Wouldn’t that make a big difference. All right secondly we go to Psalms the Old Testament 119 verses 159 oh Lord your word is truth from the beginning from the beginning when he created the world and then kind his word was truth wasn’t a lie it wasn’t a myth and it wasn’t faith okay. Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing the word or truth of God. See the word isn’t faith the word is truth and you get faith you get lawyerly persuaded you commit to that truth by hearing the word of truth that.

▶ 16:15 Make sense. Now that is so basic you got to be a con a fraud to disagree with it all right nowhere does the Bible say it’s a book of faith of myths that’s the opposite no way in the Bible can you find it says my road is myths or my road is faith’s not there. Makes sense but you see they twist our minds to think the way they want us to think and we fall for it now. The conclusion the Bible states is the book of truth several times we gave you some faith in God Jesus and truth comes by hearing the Bible God’s word of truth.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

— Romans 10:17 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 15:16

Where should truth be used?

▶ Watch this part (17:09)

Short answer: Truth, not lies, must be used in courtrooms, schools, religions and science. Any book, film or media aims to convey a message that convinces others.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:09 Now truth not lies must be used in courtrooms is that a correct statement truth should be used in schools we should be teaching the truth is that correct yes truth should be used by religions religion should be teaching truth shouldn’t it any religion or science science should be teaching what truth. That’s just basic understanding. A. We gotta use truth thus. Any book film or media’s purpose is to convey a message that convinces others of a specific topic I don’t care if it’s a fiction book most of them are out to confer a message in there right and if it’s a nonfiction book they are so.

If the world accepts other books, should it accept the Bible?

▶ Watch this part (18:07)

Short answer: He lists the most-read books and five philosophies—the Quran, the Communist Manifesto, the Humanist Manifesto, the homosexual agenda and the evolutionary manifesto—and says if they accept these books, they should accept the Bible on the same basis.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 18:07 Here is the 10 most read books in the world the diary of Anne Frank think and grow rich a financial book how to be successful Gone with the Wind a story about the civil war and the problems there the twilight saga. I couldn’t even handle that one I. Tried to read that I hang of man this is really dumb. And it was very popular the Da Vinci Code this is nothing but fiction that a lot of people thought was true and the Lord of the Rings which is a what I call Disneyland witchcraft.

▶ 18:50 G witches can’t do the things that they do so it’s myths all right and Harry Potter same way Disneyland witchcraft [unclear] this is given no no no devils don’t ride big sticks and yeah come on this disneyland witchcraft they don’t hurt anybody and then you’ve got the quotations of Mao Tse-tung the the the leader of china then if you didn’t buy the book and read the book you got blood gel so everybody about the book that’s why it’s yeah it’s about communism in here and how great he is or how great it is and then you got the Bible which is way above all of them and the Bible is a book of truth all these have purposes saying what they’re about and they.

▶ 19:45 Accept these books they also accept the holy Quran as an acceptable book muslim is a religion of peace you’ve heard that over and over having it yeah from our president how did you yeah they try to brainwash us to tell us something about this book but this book there is embrace capitalism the only one of these five books are going to bring out to you that embraces capitalism is the Muslims all right that they want to abolish destroy kill Jews they want to kill Christians as all the other five books do they want to get rid of christianity and the Bible are you aware of that. These five books and philosophies are prominent in our generation all right now the communist manifesto is a socialist book it’s how government should be in control of the economy and social issues they want to eliminate any social levels they want to eliminate any economic levels everybody makes basically the same kind of money except of course the leaders they still get the right iran and their cadillacs and live in fancy homes and all that yes but everybody else supposedly is one society that’s called the socialism.

▶ 21:12 The humanist manifesto in 1933 and then they wrote it again in 1970s and said that the christianity was a dying corpse and that the humanists would win the war by taking their religion of secular humanism to the schools to the colleges and they did and folks they’re winning the war because the church is not indoctrinated in the total truths of God’s word. We just pray and we believe and we don’t know things that we should know from the Bible okay the humanists are against capitalism all right and they’re against religion they want to wipe out christianity and any religion the homosexual manifesto or agenda in the 1970s of course is the story about is a for.

▶ 22:13 Us a about how most of how homosexuals should be accepted as an acceptable lifestyle and they wanted to be able to marry and adopt children and and be taught in school that it’s okay and anyway they got all of their manifesto done except for two sexes by eight or it’s too late they want to have those aids for sex Lord so they can have sex with kids and the second one is they want more than one marriage partner polygamy they haven’t got those two yet but they got all the other platform it took them for 50 years and they did it and they. Also want to eradicate Christians and the Bible okay it’s right in their manifesto their agenda and then you’ve got the new kid on the block the evolutionary manifesto this is fairly new the evolutionary manifesto is a transition from the biological evolution to the intentional evolution.

▶ 23:20 They have an intent they have a goal and to eliminate social levels. Socialism they have a goal to eliminate capitalism. Socialism they have a goal to eradicate all religions. And they’re going to do it through a revolution a rebellion they’re going to unite people around the environment yes of earth how many heard the word environment all the time in the news okay these people are behind this stuff if you want to distract people from the reality of life the mores of life just get other subjects in the news and permanent. Okay and all history and our future is going to be based on science alone or knowledge alone the absence of Bible truth.

What two subjects is the whole Bible written about?

▶ Watch this part (24:23)

Short answer: On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets: love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 24:23 Now if they accept these books. And. They’re not con artists they should accept the Bible on the same basis is that correct yeah the Bible has a preface to tell what it’s about it has subjects it covers these books do and they accept them in the Bible because of equality should be accepted also amen. Is that a good argument. Hmm. All right secondly we’re going to lay the foundation that it can be scientifically proven what choose the Bible is written for if the body is a book of truth what truth what subjects is it about again using the scientific method we asked the question who or what specific truths was the Bible written we go to the Bible we read it we observed we test it we recorder then we found in Matthew 20 to 40 on these two commandments hang or sum up all the law and the prophets so the whole Bible was written about two subjects right.

▶ 25:42 Yes not complicated. Love God with all your heart soul mind and strength is the first subject love your neighbor as yourself is the second subject so the whole Bible is how to behave and how to relate to a God who is a spirit and how to behave and relate to people around you. Now. Who can argue with that. Should we know how to relate to those around us absolutely. Then it goes on to say in Matthew 7:12 all things whatsoever you would but men should do to you do even so to them for this is the law and the prophets and Jesus brought in the Psalms when he said all that’s written in the law of the prophets and the Psalms concerning me is it so if that’s basically Proverbs is the only one left out here.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 22:37-40 (NKJV)

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Scripture (NKJV)

Matthew 7:12 (NKJV)

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

How does the Bible define love?

▶ Watch this part (26:49)

Short answer: Love works no harm to its neighbor. It’s not a feeling or an affection; it is a decision not to do things verbally or physically to hurt someone.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 26:49 Romans 13:10 if there be any other law he quotes a couple of laws that shalt not steal thou shalt not kill and he says if there’s any other law it is understood and this’ll all love your neighbor as yourself Lord works no harm to their neighbor so love fulfills the law now God gives us a definition of a word love he says love doesn’t hurt people. That’s the definite it’s not a feeling not an affection it is a decision not to do things verbally or physically to hurt someone. Now. Many would argue against that this is the argument I give the atheists okay what’s the problem with loving your neighbors yourself what’s the problem with doing no harm to people where you no problem I said every joke.

▶ 27:46 What is it junk the whole Bible is written to tell this how to love God and how to love our neighbor what John a the city of gold before square city I said that’s that’s a parable illustration of the church. And I don’t know this stuff because you don’t know the Bible it’s all about loving God and loving her people now you young ones can understand that can’t you in that that simple absolutely it’s that simple. Conclusion specific Bible truths are loving and doing no harm to God your neighbor or yourself. Thus the Bible truths may be used in all arguments of spiritual things is that right God is a spirit God is Jesus the whole thing is about them and how to relate to our people those around us on earth and they can be used in all arguments of spiritual things and things that are hearing that harm human is that correct from what we saw in the Bible is that correct then what did we let them.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Romans 13:9-10 (NKJV)

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

— Romans 13:9-10 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 26:49

Does separation of church and state silence Christians?

▶ Watch this part (29:04)

Short answer: He says the First Amendment means Congress shall not establish a church or prohibit its free exercise: no denomination may run government by its dictates, but the Bible and its principles can be used.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 29:04 Take the Bible out of schools take the Bible out of society take the Bible out of politics and we don’t fight back because we have been brainwashed to believe the separation of church and state means that if you’re a Christian you can’t speak up maybe you just got a belief of faith that can’t be proven but what that constitutional amendment means Congress shall not make a establish a church or prevent prevent the free exercise thereof and he uses the word church there is baptist can’t be in control or the Catholics can’t be in control or the Pentecostals can’t be in control of government and run it by their dictates but the Bible and its principles can be. Amen I.

▶ 29:59 Don’t want the baptist telling me I gotta believe was like they believed do you and I don’t want the Pentecostals telling me I’ve got to believe like they believe some Pentecostals believe you can’t even be saved if you don’t speak in tongues that’s ridiculous. That is just absurd. But we can use truth amen. And when someone is being hurt we can stand up for them from the Bible now. In closing remember the parable or the last subject we talked about the secret weapons of Satan Satan secret weapons and one of them the seed sown among the thorns choked out the word that there was no fruit remember that all right they believed they heard they believed they received and they were saved but they did not produce fruit.

What happens to branches that bear no fruit?

▶ Watch this part (31:05)

Short answer: Every branch in Him that bears not fruit the Father takes away and casts into the fire. He says yes, we can lose our salvation; the goal is to produce good fruit.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 31:05 All right and it says cares of this world just everyday life working and having to repair things at home rushing your call and whatever you know buying clothes the other day life and the deceitfulness of riches I’ve got to be rich I got made a million I got to make two million the next year and so forth [unclear] and they lost the pleasures the alcohol the drugs the sex the parties all of those lustful pleasures choked the word and the word did not produce fruit in them but this parable. Tells us what happens to those who don’t produce fruit. John 15:1 every branch in me that bears not fruit the father takes away cuts it off.

▶ 32:03 And he cast it into the fire. Now I didn’t say that over in the parable of the sower but it’s saying it here are you with me can we lose our salvation absolutely. The goal is not for you to believe the goal is not for you to receive the goal is for you to produce good fruit. Amen. Now you see a picture here of a filtrate and the guy is pointing out that these are dead branches right here because you see no buds on them and so the owner is going to prune and cut these dead branches off because if if they have any kind of life in them they zap the branch that does have life they take away life from it but they can’t produce food and so he’s going to cut them off and my dad did this over here and our fruit trees he went out there and cut off those two branches so that the good branches would produce for ripe healthy fruit all right so.

What is love above?

▶ Watch this part (33:21)

Short answer: First Corinthians 13 puts love over tongues, over prophecy and over all knowledge. Now abides faith, hope and love, and the greatest is love.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 33:21 Love is a fruit of the spirit in that right and God says we’re to love him that’s what the whole book is about and were to love our neighbor but to love ourself by doing no harm that’s that’s it it doesn’t take a college education to figure out the Bible all right so when we come to Christ we’re coming to commit our lives to living right to living good in that correct yeah. And in first Corinthians 13 love is over tongues. Brothers over prophesy. Love is over all knowledge or what’s another word for knowledge science love is over all science.

▶ 34:13 Now that we know that’s true if our politicians and the citizens of America really made laws and for us to love one another and we loved one another and you know that’s about all the other knowledge we’ve reached the goal and they understand all mysteries and have all faiths and they help the poor and they give them self to be martyred love is above you standing forward little hobbyhorse doctrines and getting persecuted and marting for martyr for love is above all of your faith you have in yourself and in your church and in faith period love is above that first Corinthians 13 says. Now abides faith hope and love and the greatest is love.

▶ 35:13 I. Submit to you that America needs to be fruitful again so one nation under God and on our money was spread in God we trust’ that was done in the 50s where there was a big awakening people were spiritually minded even sinners agreed they were sinners I lived there they didn’t use excuses well it’s a neighborhood I grew up in it’s my color of my skin or its you know my parents yeah whatever that people didn’t use it they just admitted I’m bad. Okay and then in the sixties things started changing now. Trump says make America great again and he’s doing what he can economically to make it great again but I submit to you we need to make America fruitful again we had the fruit of a Bible in the 40s and in the 50s and we slowly lost it because we let these philosophies come in even lyndon b johnson passed an amendment got an amendment passed to another bill that churches could not be involved in any political.

▶ 36:38 Candidate. You know election and many churches believed and would not speak about political issues from that time forth are you there. That that amendment violates the first amendment. And these pastors because they don’t want to lose their tax exemption won’t talk about politics because of lyndon be johnson’s amendment to a bill that said churches can’t promote any or give money to any candidate and whatever which was a direct violation of the first amendment and to prove it many churches let me preach about politics anyway because of violated my first amendment rights and this is the second sophistic no church has ever been removed from being a tax-exempt organization if they were involved in political matters none.

▶ 37:50 Are you there. The lyndon b johnson he silenced many preachers many denominations just from them fearing. Folks we got to stand up and fight for truth is the Bible a book of truth is that what we found your faith means nothing if it’s not in by the truth is that correct yes. Do we have a right to promote truth in any area in America not our church doctrine but truth. How we should behave with one another for instance who gets hurt when an abortion happens the baby who’s going to stand up for that baby the baby can’t stand up for itself that baby is getting hurt that baby’s getting killed.

▶ 38:46 The adult should have used self control before they had that baby could that be an amen yeah. Don’t take it out on the baby should the church three truths stand up for that person that’s bitten hurt in our society yes and that goes in any area and we have let these con artists con us into believing differently they want to change our history and they want to change our future are you with me and we can’t fall for this stuff now I showed you that America was fruitfull at its beginning. Francis Scott Key proved it with the last stanza of our national anthem correct in the 50s God we trust on our money one nation under God in our pledge of allegiance and they.

What does he call the small church to do?

▶ 39:41 Passed the law in 1954 that or they didn’t pass a law the Supreme Court ruled that separate but equal was unconstitutional that means the black people when I grew up there was a colored fountain and there was a white belt and because it was equal but separate okay. The the Supreme Court in the 1950s in this fruitful America said no that’s immoral it has nothing to do with law. Precedent law or past laws it has to do with morals and it is morally wrong and they unanimously unanimously. Eradicated the equal but separate thing but the Democrat party and you can read on it thought that until the early sixties.

▶ 40:36 When the civil rights bill was passed the Republicans tried to get it passed in the 50s from that Supreme Court decision the Democrats fought against it and finally in 1964 I believe somewhere in there 62 to 64 the Republicans passed the civil rights law against many Democrats opposing it quickly lyndon b johnson and the Democrats. Through the great society thing to give a by everybody they started winning the blacks over the democratic party and they want them over since. They vote democratic and this is not taught in school you guys weren’t taught this in school you know and they know you’re not going to do the research because you’d rather listen to rap music and watch tv than do research because you’re a kid you know us adults should be meeting it all right they’re kids we should be we should be the example we should be the leaders they shouldn’t have to do this degree search.

▶ 41:59 Church even though we’re a small church we need to rise up and fight this battle we’re just as important to America as anyone and we need to rise up and stand up for Bible truths.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: He says “John 17:11” for “your word is truth” (John 17:17) and “Psalm 119 verse 159” for “your word is truth from the beginning” (Psalm 119:160); his words kept, the correct passages linked. He calls Matthew 22:40 “Matthew 20 to 40”. Kept as spoken: “colored boy” and gang slurs in his childhood story (5:49–10:38). Select any time to jump to that moment on YouTube.
