From the sermonBefore There Was an Earth · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer contrasts secular origin theories with what the Bible alone reveals about before the earth: Christ as Wisdom beside God (Proverbs 8), the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, the church chosen in him, the kingdom prepared, and eternal life promised before time began. Since Jesus fulfilled the beginning promises, he will fulfill the end promises.

What do secular scientists say happened before the earth?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: He says secular scientists credit a random big bang from dust and gas that always existed—their eternal god—while laughing at believers for saying God always existed. They teach the earth came with no purpose or plan for mankind.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 Today we’re going to deal with this topic. Before there was ever an earth. And before time began. God tells us what went on. What happened before time began before the earth was ever here very interesting. Now secular scientists they say the random big bang was before the earth this microscopic bit of mass back there just blew up and made great suns and planets and dust from almost nothing came everything you asked them where did the dust come from and they don’t know it always was well God always was they laugh at us for saying that God always existed and they come up with dust and gas that always existed so that’s their eternal God you know that’s uh.

Is darkness just the absence of light?

▶ Watch this part (1:02)

Short answer: He says the Bible teaches God created darkness. In the plague on Egypt the darkness could be felt—Egyptians had lamps and kitchen fires yet couldn’t see, while Israel had light—and at the Red Sea the cloud was darkness to Egypt and light to Israel.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:02 They said that the earth. Just came randomly with no purpose for mankind or plan for mankind that is what they say and I was just all random big accident that just happened and uh. This is their explanation they cannot explain to you where light came from other than it’s a chemical uh result okay they cannot explain to you what darkness is except it’s the absence of light. Well the Bible says God created darkness it wasn’t the absence of light and let me give you an example in Egypt when Moses was down there and he leading the people out of Israel God brought plagues upon Egypt and one of them was the plague of darkness darkness that could be felt darkness where the Egyptians the Bible says had no light in their dwelling but Israel had light in their dwelling now if you understand culture and history and so forth the light back there was a lamp and a fire was always maintained for cooking okay so they headed in their house they both had a kitchen with fire going all the time and they had a lamp now you got to understand.

▶ 2:29 That an egyptian household even though the lamp was burning they couldn’t see. Even though the kitchen fire was burning they couldn’t see. So the Bible says that darkness is not the absent of light darkness is something God created and when he wants it dark he brought darkness that they could feel are you with me you understand again another example when Israel came out of Egypt with the cloud leading them when they got to the red sea the cloud went from the front to the back and the Bible says that the cloud was darkness to Egypt they couldn’t see a thing and the cloud was light to Israel who could go on about their business. You see again. The Bible says darkness is not the absent of light it is something God created.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Exodus 10:21-23 (NKJV)

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.” So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

— Exodus 10:21-23 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 1:57 (quoted; reference not named in the message)
Scripture (NKJV)

Exodus 14:20 (NKJV)

So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

— Exodus 14:20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:06 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What can’t science explain?

▶ Watch this part (3:27)

Short answer: He says scientists can’t explain what keeps the earth spinning without slowing, what gravity is, or what creates the magnetic field. The Bible is the only book that tells what happened before the earth and before time, and science is just knowledge.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:27 Hallelujah. Now they also. Have no real explanation for the spinning of the earth it doesn’t slow down. It doesn’t speed up and where did it get the energy that we know mathematically and physics laws that it takes to cause something to spin it takes force right. What is that for us what is the energy that keeps this earth rotating almost 1100 miles per hour. And not only that this earth is moving through space at about 65 000 miles an hour. And it never slows down. They will give you a bunch of malarkey.

▶ 4:21 But they really don’t know. Okay they don’t know what gravity is they can tell you what it does but they don’t know what it is they can’t tell you what creates a magnetic field to give us a compass that points to the north. Scientists when they don’t understand things they just invent words like the homosexuals do you know they change the word gay to be homosexual and gender you know you can be anything half man half woman whatever. And that’s what unbelievers are doing. In our generation but the Bible gives us clarity the Bible is the only book in the world that tells you what happened before earth. Before time began and the Bible says that the mountains were under the waters of the earth until God subsided the waters scientists say the tectonic plates and all that pushed the mountains up or erosion made them the Bible says they were there when he created the earth and we.

▶ 5:28 Saw them when the water was brought back. The Bible has some good scientific science is just knowledge it isn’t some magical word that these people with phds can use to make them sound really super you know intelligent people it’s just knowledge and the Bible knowledge is very powerful. Okay so that’s secular humanist man has no purpose no plan they just come accidentally randomly and they will go randomly and that is it so that’s why a guy can walk into a university slaughter people just kill him and then shoot himself why because the humanist the atheists just tell them there’s nothing after death so you know you want to get on the news at night kill them a bunch of people you’ll go out famously.

Scripture (NKJV)

Job 26:7 (NKJV)

He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.

— Job 26:7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:21 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Where are the secrets from before the foundation of the world revealed?

▶ Watch this part (6:22)

Short answer: Matthew 13:35, quoting Psalm 78:2: “I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.” These mysteries are hidden in parables, allegories and metaphors, and you come to God for the knowledge to understand them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 6:22 Because there’s no punishment after death but the Bible has a better source of knowledge that there is now. We’re going to take a look at. Things before earth things before time began Matthew 13:35 quoting from Psalm 78:2. I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world now remember the mysteries the secrets. We’ve learned in past lessons are revealed through parables spoken and parables done allegories metaphors in the Bible they are hidden in the parables and in the allegories and in the metaphors in the Bible. So they’re not really hidden.

How is Wisdom in Proverbs 8 a picture of Jesus?

▶ Watch this part (7:16)

Short answer: Proverbs 8:22–36 is a parable of wisdom that is really about Jesus: possessed by the Lord before his works of old, established from everlasting, beside him as a master craftsman before the mountains and the heavens.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:16 You just got to come to God to get the knowledge of how to understand this stuff are you with me and so we’re going to go to a parable in Proverbs 8:22. Through 36. It is a parable a story an illustration of wisdom but that parable is really talking about Jesus Christ okay. He says wisdom I. Was possessed by the Lord at the beginning of his way before his works of old before he created the heavens and the earth and the light and the stars and the moon and the sun and so forth I was possessed by him I have been established from everlasting from eternity from the beginning before there was ever an earth Jesus was.

▶ 8:13 Because Jesus is God and Jesus is the part of God that came to live in a fleshly body and die on the cross and that was established before. The earth ever was he goes on to say before the waters before the mountains before the earth before the heavens I was beside him as a master craftsman and we learned in the last lesson that it was Jesus in Genesis 1 that created. With God being the master craftsman and so he uses the parable of wisdom to illustrate Jesus are you with me. No other book in the world. Gives you sound proof and evidence of what happened before earth was no other book. Now. Let us continue about Christ yet.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Proverbs 8:22-30 (NKJV)

“The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth; While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep, When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth, Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him,

— Proverbs 8:22-30 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:26

Was Jesus God’s first plan?

▶ Watch this part (9:07)

Short answer: Revelation 3:14 calls him the beginning of the creation of God. He says Jesus wasn’t created from nothing—he is eternal—but was planned to come in a fleshly body. God had no plan B; John 17:24 says the Father loved him before the foundation of the world.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 9:07 The amen in Revelations 3:14 the faithful the true witnesses the beginning of the creation of God the first thing that God created and this really causes the dander of my fundamentalist brethren to rise up was Jesus Christ and they say well Jesus can’t be created because he’s always eternal that is true he wasn’t created from nothing to something he was created in God’s plan to be the fleshly body that would come born of a virgin do miracles and teach as the Bible said he would and then lay down his life pick it back up rise from the dead and the sin back into heaven and that God created.

▶ 9:59 At the very beginning hallelujah. Jesus was his number one plan he did not have a plan b he wasn’t disappointed when Adam and Eve messed up he had this thing already figured out that’s a supernatural God. It backed up in the New Testament John 17:24 father you love me before the foundation of the world now he didn’t come for four thousand years but he was there at the beginning the part of God that would die in the flesh for the sins of the world God with us Emmanuel oh God with us tempted like we were in all things but without sin so he was the perfect lamb he was the perfect sacrifice for us who have blemishes and faults how many out there have some faults you must yeah.

How was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world?

▶ Watch this part (10:53)

Short answer: 1 Peter 1:18–20: Christ’s blood redeemed us as a lamb without blemish, foreordained before the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8: the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world—Jesus died four thousand years later, but it was ordained before.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:53 Well he was the perfect one to be our substitute. Powerful and this was before. He created the heavens and the earth this was first he goes on to say in first Peter 1:18 Christ’s blood redeemed you as a lamb without flaws without blemishes foreordained or determined to be. Before the foundation of the world guaranteed to happen before the foundation of the world now we know the Bible says that the earth is hung on what nothing the foundation of the earth nothing supports it. And you know that’s supernatural. Yeah you try to build a house without a foundation or a car without a frame. You see but God hung the earth on what nothing.

▶ 11:49 Nothing why he’s a supernatural God and so before the earth was created before the the earth was formed Christ’s blood redeemed us he was appointed the redeemer before he ever created the heavens and the earth before he ever said let there be light before he ever said let the plants bring forth and the dry land appear. Revelations 13:8. The lamb slain from the foundation of the world now we know the foundation is what when he created the earth it’s hung on what nothing that’s its foundation so. From the foundation of the world from the time God created the lamb was slain when did Jesus really die 4.

What did God choose before the foundation of the world?

▶ Watch this part (12:44)

Short answer: Ephesians 1:4–6: God chose the church in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless—living right and treating people right in love—predestined to adoption as sons and accepted in the Beloved. He draws us; we can reject it, but we agree to his plan.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:44 000 years later. But it was ordained. It was promised it was created by God before he ever created the earth the church. Is why God created Jesus the earth and everything else. In Ephesians 1:4. He referring to God chose us referring to the church the believers. And Jesus in him in Jesus before the foundation of the world. Before the universe and the earth was ever made before the heavens even came into being he. Chose us he chose you over six thousand years ago he thought of you back then that we be holy that means we live right we we love our neighbors ourself and uh we don’t mistreat people and God has called us before the foundation of the world to live right to treat people right to love our neighbors ourselves and be.

▶ 13:59 Blameless by treating people right. In love love does no harm to its neighbor therefore love is the fulfillment of the prophets and the law. You see he chose us to be a people that treated other people right before the foundation of the world agreeing to his good pleasure according to his good pleasure his promises his purpose you see we agree and why you’re here today and why you’re following God is you agree to the plan that he had before he ever created the earth. Amen thee and God put that faith in you you didn’t stir it up when you heard the word he put that faith in you he drew you you could reject it yes but he is active drawing people today to himself into a life of righteousness.

▶ 15:00 Isn’t that beautiful before the world began that’s a supernatural God haven’t predestinated us to the adoption of sons by Jesus Christ to himself who made us accepted in the beloved the beloved is Jesus and we’re accepted we are his bride. And we were predestined again he says this was ordained beforehand that this would take place. And that’s why you’re here today there’s a lot of things you could be doing. But you took time out to worship Jesus Christ to pray and seek his faith to give him some time and to learn his word so you could go back out there into this world and be a better light like he said okay we agree how many have agreed to his purpose yes how many working on really fulfilling it but you agree to it yeah yeah.

When was the kingdom prepared?

▶ Watch this part (16:00)

Short answer: Matthew 25:34: “inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” The kingdom is eternal—righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost—and it is in power not talk, shown by the Holy Spirit’s power to be witnesses (Acts 1:8).

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:00 All right Matthew 25:34. Come. Jesus said here he is he’s judging the goats and and the sheep and uh separating them he says come inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world the kingdom started. When God said he created the heavens and the earth the kingdom started and remember last week the kingdom is eternal the kingdom is indestructible. The kingdom is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost and folks if you live right and treat people right you automatically have peace because peace is the absence of war it’s the absence of conflict. Are you there and when you treat people right and you’re self-right you not only have peace but you’ve got joy because there’s nothing to be sad about.

▶ 17:04 Amen. And it’s all brought on by the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives that’s the third part of God is the Holy Spirit the comforter the friend the one that teaches us all things reveals all things to us empowers us that’s the third expression of God there’s one God but he manifests himself as the Holy Ghost to work with you and I. He manifests himself as the son of God Jesus Christ to save us from our sins and follow the king of the kingdom Jesus is the king of the kingdom that guy and the physical body is the is the king of the kingdom. And. The kingdom is in power not in talk I mean you know it’s easy to talk Jesus I’m a Christian.

What was promised before time began?

▶ Watch this part (17:57)

Short answer: Titus 1:2: eternal life, which God who cannot lie promised before time began. He says time began on day one, a 24-hour rotation, and eternal life was promised to people, not plants or animals. 2 Timothy 1 says he saved us and called us with a holy calling, not by works of the ceremonial shadow law.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:57 I believe in Jesus and then you pick and choose in the Bible what you want to believe what you don’t want to believe but the kingdom is in power not in talk. We show it by the ability given to us by the Holy Spirit to be a witness to Christ as it says in Acts 1. You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me Jerusalem Judea and the other most parts of the world and when we live a righteous life for Christ we are a witness for him Titus 1:2. Here Paul says in the hope of eternal life which God who cannot lie promised before time began. Eternal life was promised before time began that means when God said on day one let there be light and the evening and morning were the first day that’s when time began it’s not this baloney that one day is like a thousand years a million years and a billion years it was one rotation of the earth 24 hours.

▶ 19:04 And he says before time began before that when I said let there be light I. Promised eternal life eternal life to who to plants trees that’s what extreme environmentalists think that of tree man you you know you you practice throwing your knife into a tree you’re just a brute yeah. Oh my goodness you know they thank God he applied eternal life to flowers and plants and all the rest and all you think from the animal extremist that oh gosh you killed her now I’m gonna eat an animal oh my goodness gracious inherit eternal life is you folks. That was his plan before he ever did anything else was you a believer a follower.

Does “not by works” mean you can live in sin?

▶ Watch this part (20:00)

Short answer: He says “works” there means ceremonial works of the shadow law—sacrifices, incense, tassels, food laws—not righteous living. People who think they can commit adultery, get drunk and rob and still go to heaven are wrong; those are harmful works.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 20:00 Hallelujah. See how important you are how special you are look at this second Timothy 1:8 God who has number one saved us saved us from what sin hell like a fire okay the judgment to come. He saved us and he called us he invited us to a holy calling there’s that word again to live right treating people right is what he’s talking about and treating yourself right treating yourself right treating God right and treating other people right and hear it again a holy calling a holy invitation not according to your works now he’s not talking about works of righteousness he’s talking about the works of the law the shadow law the lamb was a shadow of the real lamb incense was a shadow of prayer and praise tassels and and not eating fish and or catfish I should say and and not eating shrimp was an illustration of the righteousness the Bible says no man could keep the law the law wasn’t made to keep the shadow law wasn’t made to keep the shadow law was made to illustrate and point you toward the spiritual laws of Jesus Christ people say you’re not saved by works and they think they can go out and commit adultery get drunk and rob people and all the rest and still go to heaven no that is not righteous work that is harmful works you’re

▶ 21:31 not saved by these ceremonial works and any ceremony you dig up whether it’s this. Or whatever it doesn’t do beans. It’s just a ceremony the real power is in the word and the Holy Spirit and us living it but according to his own purpose his own pleasure and grace given to us in Christ Jesus when. Before time began this was done before God did anything. He had a destiny to create people and bring out of every nation as it says in the Bible kingdom tribe tongue culture race a people for himself. That was his plan. That’s what he created before everything else.

Why must every church preach Christ?

▶ Watch this part (22:27)

Short answer: Christ abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. With the internet there is no excuse—the church needs a vision to get the word out. Jesus fulfilled the beginning promises: virgin birth, wisdom at 12, preaching at 30, miracles, laying down his life and rising.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 22:27 But now has been revealed by the appearing of Jesus Christ who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel to which I was appointed a preacher and folks it is imperative that every church preaches the message of Jesus Christ and in our day we have no excuse the internet goes all out the world and this church needs to get a vision for getting the word out it’s not enough just to maintain our salvation our loving our neighbor our you know doing good it is imperative. That we get this message out Jesus did the beginning promises. Born of a virgin. All right at 12 years old he knew more about the scriptures than all the scribes and the Pharisees and the priests and the temple.

▶ 23:24 At 30 years old he started preaching the gospel. And that’s when people wanted to kill him until he opened his mouth everything was fine when he was just a carpenter minding his own business nobody really got saved or got mad. But when he started preaching people got mad and people got glad the people got glad they received the message the people got mad rejected the message they wanted their own religion to work for them. He did miracles to prove raise the dead open blinded eyes he grew limbs back on that were removed the maimed. Now that’s as powerful a miracle you can get. Other than raising from the dead to prove that there’s a supernatural God working in the world and they still hated him they still despised him they tried to catch him in his speech that’s what they try to do with Jesus and he defeated them every time he had an answer that they could not contest.

▶ 24:35 And then he laid down his life they couldn’t take it. He laid it down he let them kill his fleshly body remember it was the fleshly body that died on the cross Jesus the one that was back there before time began did not die. He is eternal but the fleshly body he lived and died and then on the third day Sunday he picked that fleshly body back out of the grave without blood now an immortal body and forty days later he ascended back into the heavens. With that immortal body and he’s coming back again with that immortal body we’ll see the nail prints in his hands we’ll see the spear in his scar in his side we will know that that’s the God part that died for us and so he sent forth his son born of a woman born of a virgin under the law under the ceremonial law of the shadow law to relieve those under that shadow law the Jews that we might receive the adoptions as sons now.

Will Jesus fulfill the end promises?

▶ Watch this part (25:53)

Short answer: Hebrews 9:28: he will appear the second time. John 14:3: I will come again. Acts 1:11: this same Jesus will come in like manner. 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17: the dead in Christ rise first and we are caught up. 2 Thessalonians 1:7–9: he comes in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not obey the gospel.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 25:53 I said Jesus did the beginning promises Jesus will do the end promises. Hebrews 9:28 Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. And he will appear the second time. Without sin unto salvation. He’s coming back folks he stirred up the world 2 000 years ago and let me tell you there’s some coming events. Short answer: Jeremiah 31:37: Israel failed badly, yet God brought them back. When the enemy says it’s over, admit you’re wrong, confess, and get back up—God corrects in justice but will not make a full end of you. Philippians 1:6: he who began a good work will complete it.

▶ 28:06 The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in a flaming fire taking vengeance on those that do not know God and do not do not obey his gospel. They shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints first let’s go to Jeremiah 31:37 if heaven can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath can’t be because it’s hung on nothing and the heavens can’t be measured scientists can’t measure the heavens. I will cast off Israel for all they have done says the Lord did Israel mess up oh big time did God bring them back to their land like he said.

▶ 28:58 Folks this is powerful. You make mistakes and the enemy likes to come in and tell you okay it’s done it’s over just quit quit pretending but no you just need to get back up you need to admit you’re wrong confess your sin let him forgive you get back up and get going again because he will keep working with you I am with you to save you says the Lord though I make a full end of all nations I will not make a complete end of you but I will correct you in justice in Philippians 1:6 he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: He says “John 14:31” then corrects to verse 3. The calling quote he gives as 2 Timothy 1:8 is 1:9–10. Earth speed figures (~1,100 mph rotation, ~65,000 mph orbit) are spoken and unchecked. Sensitive content kept as spoken: homosexuals and gender, atheism linked to university shootings, extreme environmentalists, young-earth 24-hour days, mountains under the flood waters, Jesus “created” in God’s plan (Revelation 3:14), the resurrected body having no blood, and Jesus growing back removed limbs of the maimed.
