How to read this:Scripture (NKJV)the Bible’s own wordsFrom the sermonthe preacher’s words

Gray boxes are our own short answers and summaries.

From the sermonApologetics, Jesus Style · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

In the seventh session on warfare for mankind, Pastor David G. Kincer contrasts apologetics with how Jesus answered: when scribes and Pharisees staged the woman caught in adultery and quoted only part of the law, Jesus convicted them with a 15-word statement. He stresses that conviction comes by the Spirit, shares witnessing to a Muslim chaplain, and teaches that eternal life is knowing God.

Where does most warfare against a believer’s faith come from?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Mainly from within the church—we’re fighting among ourselves. Groups that rejected Jesus and his gospel tried to justify themselves, as many apologists do today.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 0:00 This is our seventh session on warfare for mankind and I’m going to make the statement that warfare for believers faith. Worship team that was great you know give honor to whom honor is due I’m going to make this statement whoa warfare for believers faith mainly comes from within the church. Okay we’re really fighting amongst ourselves all right remember last week we showed you five religious groups of Jews in the Bible that rejected Christ. Rejected Jesus rejected him being the messiah and rejected his gospel that if you confess your sin and you repent from those sins and you get water baptized God will pardon deliver and free you and forgive you of sin they rejected that and so when they reject Jesus and that gospel they’re going to try and justify themselves and defend their faith okay and this is what most apologetics and heresy hunters are doing they’re simply trying to convince you that they’re right and they really haven’t

What does salvation require?

▶ Watch this part (1:24)

Short answer: Conviction by the Spirit—you must be born of the Spirit; it’s not a mental thing. Jesus answered with a 15-word statement, no 400-page book, no donations, no debate.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:24 Focused much on the fact that people need to be told they can live forever. Eternal life is the message of the gospel can I hear an amen yes that is it and we get distracted after that and so I’m going to show you today a scripture. This is apologetics Jesus style all right this is the way he did it and I’m going to give you a scripture today where Jesus brings conviction. Folks if God isn’t convicting you and drawing you to him. You’re not being saved you got to be born of the spirit the spirits got to be active it’s not a mental thing.

▶ 2:19 It is a spiritual thing are you with me now [unclear] and so Jesus is going to bring conviction and he is going to bring a response by his supernatural power. The people are going to respond and let me tell you it’s really supernatural it’s beyond human ability what he’s going to do here in this scripture and he’s going to use a 15 word statement of truth that’s it that’s his sermon 15 words bam I’m done. We debate for hours we argue we write books and he didn’t by the way ask for donations to get answers he did not sell a 400-page apologetic book on the issue.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 3:5 (NKJV)

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Is truth decided by majority?

▶ Watch this part (3:18)

Short answer: No—follow truth no matter what the majority says. If the Bible has all the answers, why a million books about it?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 3:18 Christian authors are getting rich off Christians who just don’t know how to read that Bible and seek God and get answered it’s amazing how many millions of books have been written about one book that has all the answers. Now if the Bible has all the answers why do we have a million books written about it [unclear]. Does that make sense to you yes and so he’s not going to ask for a vote on it how many want this how many want that majority vote is not in the Bible truth is it right is it God is it there is no vote. Am I right but we think we can get in a meeting well how many are for this and huh oh yeah well majority rules here and we’re really following [unclear] you’re following God.

▶ 4:15 You gotta follow truth no matter what the majority says am I right and He didn’t debate it with him you’re not going to find him debating. He’s going to say a 15 word statement and it’s going to revolutionize life’s watch. [unclear] they staged a scheme.

How do apologists misuse Scripture?

▶ Watch this part (5:08)

Short answer: They carry verses into another context. The verse “thousand years as a day” is about the second coming; applying it to creation would mean Christ won’t return for billions of years.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 5:08 Using a civil law all right these. Religious people to find fault with Jesus and something to accuse him about. They have no idea they’re dealing with God they are so blind by the religion they had no idea that Jesus and God and the very God they believed in is right there and they’re trying to find fault with him see how dumb religion makes you yes when you got to defend your religion you’re in trouble. Hallelujah and Jesus Christ didn’t need defending he’s powerful. Alleluia. Now. He didn’t use a shadow law they didn’t use a wise law and they didn’t use the spiritual law they used a civil law and this is what apologetics do they use verses that have the context of one thing trying to bring it over.

▶ 6:14 To justify their argument. See I can give you an example. And. Some people believe the earth was not created in six days and they quote the verse thousand years as a day in the day as a thousand years I. Quote it all the time but what’s the context of that statement the context of that statement when you look at it above the scripture and below it it’s about the second coming. so [unclear] if you’re going to take that thousand-year theme and bring it over to creation and say it took millions and billions of years for God to create the earth then you got to bring it over to the second coming because that’s the context so Christ isn’t coming back for millions and billions of years makes no sense does it.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

2 Peter 3:8 (NKJV)

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

— 2 Peter 3:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 6:29 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What scheme did the scribes and Pharisees stage?

▶ Watch this part (7:11)

Short answer: John 8:3–5: they brought a woman caught in adultery, quoting Moses’ law that she be stoned—to test Jesus, not caring for her forgiveness. He says such cases required two or three witnesses.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:11 You got to look at the context of the scripture the verses before in the verse after you got to keep scripture related to the purpose it was written for can I hear an amen. Now their whole goal and objective is to find fault with Christ they’re not wanting eternal life. They’re not looking for pardon of their sins. They’re only wanting to justify themselves before the crowd the multitude and find fault with Christ. John 8:36 scribes and the Pharisee here’s two of the five religious groups spoken of in the Bible brought unto Jesus a woman in adultery caught in the very act okay to do that you had to bring them to the judges and there had to be two or three witnesses now think about it logically if I’m going to go out on my wife I’m not going to go out publicly where people can see me.

▶ 8:19 It’s just going to be me and another woman in private okay. Somebody can say I committed adultery but nobody was there to witness it if somebody happened to come in and see it happening then there’s one witness but there’s two witnesses that said they didn’t I mean the man and woman are gonna admit it if they did they’re going to get stoned. So you got one witness against to witness you don’t have a court case if that guy happened to bring somebody with him you got two witnesses against two witnesses you don’t have a court case are you there so you got to have a third witness and how you going to get a third witness in adultery. That’s pretty tough because nobody’s out in the parks committing adultery they’re doing in secret and that’s why the capital punishment in the Bible is very difficult.

▶ 9:20 To get to you got to have witnesses not circumstantial evidence because a person cannot account for their time doesn’t mean they committed the crime and That right you got to have witnesses and so they brought a whole bunch why because they staged this they knew this woman was vulnerable they staged the whole thing. to get her committing adultery her married to a husband and then they brought her to Christ the whole thing was planned. And then they said Moses in the law commanded that such should be stoned. according to civil law and then they said what say you and as.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 8:3-5 (NKJV)

Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?”

— John 8:3-5 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 7:48

What did they leave out of the law?

▶ Watch this part (10:15)

Short answer: Deuteronomy 22:22: both the man and woman shall die. They brought only the woman, and that same book says do not add to or take from the word (Deuteronomy 4:2).

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 10:15 I said their goal and purpose I’ll get over here feel like I’m blocking you guys their goal and purpose is to test Jesus that they might have something to accuse him of they don’t care about this woman having eternal life they don’t care about this woman being forgiven they could care the least about this woman they just want to find fault with Jesus Christ that’s their goal. Are you with me and that’s the goal of most apologetics they’re not trying to convert people over for eternal life they’re trying to defend their beliefs. Now. They partly quoted the civil law they didn’t quote the whole law and this is what apologetics do.

▶ 11:16 They go to a verse and take a little statement out like I gave you the example early they take one verse out of a context of about 20 verses and come up with the earth was created in millions and billions of years. and that law was given by God not just Moses Moses didn’t think of that what the world’s going on here and they did it to put away evil from the nation. You know you don’t want the nation. [unclear] crime things that hurt people and things that hurt family and so here is the verse now you tell me where they only partly. Quoted it if a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband then they both shall die the man that lay with the woman and the woman so shall you put away evil from Israel you see that’s an evil thing and it’s got to be put away where is the error.

▶ 12:29 Yeah both who did they bring who did they quote one the woman. See they took the scripture out of context why because their goal is to find fault to justify themselves so they took part of the scripture to focus on the woman and obviously they sent the man down there to entice her the whole thing was set up and then the others come in and saw it okay we got you in the act let’s go to Christ [unclear] because Christ is preaching that this woman can be forgiven and she can have eternal life but the law says she’s got to die. See the intellect. Alleluia now they got a little problem here don’t they that same book says you shall not add to the word which I command you nor shall you take from it which did they do they took from it.

▶ 13:35 You can’t add your opinions to the Bible and you can’t take God’s truth and diminish it it’s not allowed in that a good verse are you with me so far hallelujah now. Jesus is going to supernaturally reverse the test. Supernaturally because this is beyond humans this is beyond humans intellectual power speaking powers and capability power he’s going to reverse this thing it’s miraculous it’s it’s powerful and the church needs to learn this he’s going to reverse the accusation and he’s going to reverse the stoning sentence and put them all back on them I.

Scripture (NKJV)

Deuteronomy 22:22 (NKJV)

“If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die—the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel.

— Deuteronomy 4:2 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 13:25 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

How did Jesus answer?

▶ Watch this part (14:31)

Short answer: John 8:6–7: he stooped and wrote on the ground, then said he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her—the 15-word statement.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 14:31 Mean. And he’s going to do it without a debate without an offering he’s going to do it without writing a book he’s going to do it with a 15 word statement. Jesus stooped down with his finger and wrote on the ground as though he heard them not now if I stoop down and write on the ground you know I’m going to write something in english I’m writing [unclear] a letter I write I’m making a statement and I write so he writes on the ground and he ignores him like he didn’t hear what they said and you know apologetics really get angry when you ignore him. They continued asking him let’s say you let’s say yes come on give us an answer we got [unclear] and then he stood back up and he said that 15 word statement he that is without sin sin is the violation of the law all right he that is without violating the law among you you witnesses let him cast a stone the first stone at her all.

▶ 15:45 Right now guarantee you [unclear] as a human being if I lived at that time and I said he that is without sin among you let him cast the first stone [unclear]. But Jesus is talking do you get it church. Jesus is talking and that’s what we need in the church hear what the spirit is saying to the church when Jesus speaks when the spirit speaks when God speaks it’s a big difference. That’s how I got saved God talked to me. It wasn’t an intellectual thing God talked to me he convicted me. Isn’t this a good story yeah.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 8:6-7 (NKJV)

This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

— John 8:6-7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 14:46 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

Why did the accusers leave?

▶ Watch this part (16:43)

Short answer: John 8:9: convicted by their conscience they went out one by one, beginning with the eldest. God speaks to our conscience. John 16:8: the Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:43 Now. Then he stooped down again and wrote again and I’ve always [unclear] I’d sure like to know what he wrote but I have a sneaky suspicion that he wrote the last verse I gave you both the man and woman are to be stoned and [unclear] both. There and then there’s another verse and I think he wrote they which heard heard what the 15 word statement. they didn’t debate they’re not talking back. The power of God’s conviction came upon them in their own conscience and I’ve told you many times when people say God told me what they’re saying is God spoke to their conscience it isn’t like he’s speaking audibly I mean he can do that but that isn’t what he does most of the time he speaks to your conscience everyone has a conscience a recognition of right and wrong I don’t care where you’re born I don’t care what continent you’re on God gave you a conscience to remind you of what’s right and wrong and you basically know you’re doing wrong when you’re doing it because your conscience tells you so all right hallelujah.

▶ 18:12 They went out one by one beginning at the eldest to the last he got a response with a 15 word statement we got millions of books written in the Christian bookstore and we’re not getting a whole lot of results in America right now now God’s bringing in harvest in other nations but not really here in America the church is declining in America you all know that right yeah see we need God speaking again to American Christians not intellect we need the spirit of God and the word of God speaking to us and John 16:8 it says the spirit convicts of sin righteousness and the judgment to come. Hallelujah.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 8:9 (NKJV)

Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

John 16:8 (NKJV)

And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

— John 16:8 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 18:54

What else convicts people?

▶ Watch this part (19:08)

Short answer: Titus 1:9: sound doctrine convicts those who contradict—speak the scripture pertinent to that person.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 19:08 Man. And. So who convicts the spirit all your intellect is not going to convince someone to get saved. The spirits got to draw them God to convict them secondly in Titus 1:9 Paul says by sound doctrine wholesome doctrine good doctrine convict. [unclear] exhort and convict those who contradict sound doctrine you say so you got to speak scripture you got to speak wholesome scriptures and you got to have the scripture that’s pertinent for that person at that time. Amen.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Titus 1:9 (NKJV)

holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

What did Jesus tell the woman?

▶ Watch this part (20:03)

Short answer: John 8:10–11: has no one condemned you? Neither do I; go and sin no more—repent. Acts 2:38: repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 20:03 Now. Then Jesus said those famous words where are your accusers has no one condemned you no my Lord neither do I the sinless one he said he does without sin among you let him cast the first stone could Jesus have stoned her yet he was sinless did he know. Why he came into the world to save sinners why is he going to go around killing them.

▶ 20:39 Amen he’s wanting everyone to come to the knowledge of salvation everyone that’s his plan and he said go and sin no more so what is he telling her to do repent in that part of the gospel he’s telling to repent don’t do this anymore lady I’m forgiving you don’t do this anymore are you with me hallelujah and it says in the Bible repent and be baptized every one of you for the remission deliverance freedom forgiveness of sin repent and be baptized you gotta admit you’re wrong you got to turn from the wrong and you got to get water baptized I don’t care what other people say it’s part of the package did John the Baptist come with the doctrine of repentance by water baptism yes did Jesus carried on yes literally they did that that’s his first message that’s John’s message who are we to change the message.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 8:10-11 (NKJV)

How did Jesus reverse the test?

▶ Watch this part (21:42)

Short answer: Deuteronomy 19:18–20: a false witness receives what he intended for his brother, and those who remain will hear and fear. He believes Jesus wrote that verse, turning the sentence back on them.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 21:42 Hallelujah now. I asked you today why did they leave why did their conscience convict them besides misquoting the scriptures quoting partial scripture here’s the other verse Jesus wrote on the ground and my opinion in my righteous opinion. Deuteronomy 19:18 the judges shall make careful inquiry and indeed if the witness is a false witness who has testified falsely against his brother you see you can’t just have witnesses they got to be examined. The judges have got to know this witness is a legitimate witness they didn’t do this did they know.

▶ 22:42 Then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother in this case the sister they wanted her stoned guess what they’re false witnesses they came in with partial law they came in wanting this woman to get stoned so they could find fault with Jesus and so they deserve to be what stone and he miraculously reversed this whole thing back on them now you show me somebody today that’s got that kind of yeah right that’s why we need God talking to people amen. now [unclear] those who remain and here’s why discipline.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Deuteronomy 19:18-20 (NKJV)

And the judges shall make careful inquiry, and indeed, if the witness is a false witness, who has testified falsely against his brother, then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother; so you shall put away the evil from among you. And those who remain shall hear and fear, and hereafter they shall not again commit such evil among you.

— Deuteronomy 19:18-20 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 21:42

Was the biblical judicial system harsh?

▶ Watch this part (23:35)

Short answer: He says it corrected people with beatings, fines, banishment or servitude; needing two or three genuine witnesses meant very few stonings are recorded.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 23:35 Punishing criminals is important those who remain will hear and fear and hereafter they will not again commit such evil among you the reason God wants those who violate moral laws to be punished is so those that are still innocent and not done it learned that is not the thing to do now is that a good legal system absolutely now you know stoning wasn’t the only punishment in the Bible they could be beaten they could be fined they could be banished and they could be sold into servanthood they would have to serve someone to pay off debts or whatever that they committed you know it’s a pretty good judicial system because in this judicial system everybody’s getting corrected and nobody ever got

▶ 24:31 Really punished and and put to death and because you had to have two or three genuine witnesses and so when you go to fine how many people died in the Bible from stoning guess how many you will find. how many one or two [unclear]. As for people that were stoned in the Bible that were innocent. People I mean criminals. All right and three of them God did it God came and made the judgment and told him to do it God personally did it you don’t find them stoned anywhere else. In the Old Testament so.

▶ 25:24 It’s not like these people you know God’s people are stoning everybody [unclear] why because you’ve got to have two or three witnesses it’s tough a thief how you going to how you going to convict him there’s got to be two witnesses at least not one then as he says she says and that’s what I try to tell my school staff you cannot go to parents and talk verbally you must write it down because if it’s written down you have evidence of what’s going on if it’s not written down as he says she says and there’s no case are you with me. Hallelujah. And so. We have a good judicial system now. Yesterday me and some senior citizens went out and let me tell you these guys know how to eat and they know how to talk.

How did he witness to a Muslim chaplain?

▶ Watch this part (26:23)

Short answer: After praying for an opportunity, he met a Muslim chaplain in San Diego and kept bringing him back to Jesus’ death on the cross; some sow, some water, but God gives the increase.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 26:23 But anyway before they pick me up I told God I said Lord I want you to. Give me an opportunity to witness today to somebody and so I you know and I’m still working on my number of salvations I’ve got over 1100 now [unclear] couple hours later after we wandered all through these streets down to San Diego you go to San Diego with these people you’re going to see a lot more than San Diego. man we wandered we went up and down one street at least three times but anyway we got to this destination where you’re overlooked the bay and the spirit rose in me then we’re walking toward it the spirit rose in me and I knew somebody’s up there that I’m going to get a talk to you I’ve felt that before and so there’s about 50 people up there and then I’m walking and talking and I’m looking I’m looking at that for that face that countenance it and I’m looking at 50 people and I’m looking [unclear] just telling us you know this is a military thing and over here’s you know all those [unclear] SEALs and all this and I’ve been looking for this person and then a voice right to my left said no that’s not where it’s at it’s over here.

▶ 27:42 And I turned around and as an african American there an old man white-haired and [unclear] and I go wow all right so I start asking him all kinds of questions well what’s this over here what’s that what do you I and I’m I don’t really care about the military down now right now I’m after one thing I’m wanting to tell this guy about Jesus and the cross and I’m just trying to get a door open and finally you know I asked him what he did for a living he told me was a chaplain. And I oh that was the door and then he said he’s a Muslim chaplain and I oh wow I’ve been praying for months that I could talk to a Muslim that could talk back most Muslims would not talk to me hey.

▶ 28:40 Zip the lip real quick and so I told him you know I’m a pastor a church I’m glad you’re a chaplain and you’re not I’d like for you to clarify a few things. I. Said your Quran says Jesus didn’t die on the cross my Bible says he died on the cross that the chief priests and elders would beat him punish him harm him mistreating mocking and they would kill him crucify him on a third day he would rise. What am I doing I’m bringing him to Christ in the cross why that’s the gospel. Now already knew the Quran cuz I read the Quran you know you gotta be gotta be prepped for these people you gotta know and I already knew I was going to say God can’t die I said no God can’t die but his body that he was in died for the sins of the world brought him to Christ on the cross sins of the world forgiveness and he kept diverting he kept [unclear] just like these [unclear] in the Bible yeah yeah I.

Why do people reject the light?

▶ Watch this part (29:52)

Short answer: John 3:18–19: whoever does not believe is condemned already; light has come, but people loved darkness because their deeds were evil. He lists sexual sins and says we should care about people’s eternity.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 29:52 Keep talking Jesus he keeps going in another direction so after four times of presenting Jesus to him I realize some sow some water but God gives the increase [unclear] and I realize that this is a season for me to sow seed in him and let God take that seed and bring conviction and a result in it it’s his job amen so then I just walked away [unclear] more time for him he says that he said the statement that you know you’re not going to convince me and I’m not going to convince you and yeah he’s not wanting eternal life he’s not wanting to hear who Jesus is are you there and the Bible says when you don’t believe on Jesus Christ you’re condemned already because you haven’t believed on the only begotten son of God and this is the condemnation that light has come into the world truth and the.

▶ 30:58 People rejected it because their deeds are evil do they when they want to do wrong they’re not going to come to Christ when they want to do right and they like [unclear] they’ll come are you with me alleluia you see and these people. these Muslims that teach these [unclear] this nonsense they don’t really care about that person having eternal life and getting real forgiveness of their sin just like the homosexual the Americans that say the homosexuality they were born that way and it’s okay they don’t really care about that homosexual having eternal life and knowing God because the Bible says homosexuality is sin adultery is sin fornication is sin sex with animals is sin and sex with children is sin it’s plain are you with me.

▶ 31:58 And folks we should be concerned and I told [unclear] once [unclear] told me they were born that way I said you know when you [unclear] they should have the freedom to live their lifestyles that you are condemning that person to a gross death from hiv and aids and so that’s what you’re doing and after he’s dead he’s going to go to hell how can you tell me it’s okay you should be concerned about the eternity of that human being and that’s what Jesus was with this woman wouldn’t he they caught her in the act and he found a way with a 15 word statement to forgive this woman and tell her to repent and sin no more and folks we need God when we witness to people we need to lean on him and our.

▶ 33:00 Church we need God talking this morning with a beautiful [unclear] those prayers see that’s what we need we need the freshness of God’s voice and our services amen these religious Jews as I said didn’t care if she knew God or chose eternal life they just wanted to defend their doctrine John 17:3 this is eternal life. this is eternal life is [unclear] is in math means what equal a Is b a equal b and then okay sorry problem story problems okay this is eternal life so he’s going to define eternal life [unclear] alright now you can go to your greek dictionary and it’s going to say live forever but Jesus is going to define it this is eternal life that you may that they may know you the only true God.

▶ 34:06 not head knowledge knowing him intimately and Jesus Christ whom you have sent you know him both didn’t Jesus say that him and the father were coming to abide [unclear] yeah both and then we got the Holy Spirit. We got all three. John 6:69 we have come this is the disciples talking read this with me everybody we have come to believe and know that you are the Christ the son of the living God we have come to what believe we have progressed we believe and not only we progress to believe but we have progress to what know. That you are the Christ the son of the living God.

▶ 35:01 The new covenant how many of you can quote it. You should be able to quote the new covenant every Christian that is your promise from God you should be able to quote the new covenant because when you get in temptations and you get in troubles and all that that new covenant says all can know him from the least to the greatest no matter how small Christian you think you are you can know him and no matter how great you think you are and how mature you think you are you can know him.

▶ 35:44 Amen you can know him you could know him I was going down the road one day with someone in the car I was young Christian and we had on the radio and a Christian program and this woman came on her name was Claire Prophet and she was speaking I mean man could she speak but because I knew God I knew that woman was speaking from a demonic voice a demonic source and I told the person [unclear] that woman is not a minister she is speaking from demonic sources that is a demonic voice talking and they look at me like what so I go and I check her out I look up sure enough she was an openly false prophet. Quoting scriptures using scriptures to do it but see when you know the real spirit you know the phony one it’s easy to identify the evil spirit when you know the good one are you with me you may not know all the information but you know because you know him how many of us want to be like the disciples not just believe but know your God and know his son.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Points to check: John 8:3 spoken as “John 8:36”; Deuteronomy 22:22 paraphrased; “how many died in the Bible from stoning … one or two … three of them God did it”; “over 1100” salvations; Claire Prophet named as a false prophet. Sensitive content kept as spoken: Christian authors “getting rich off Christians”; “how dumb religion makes you”; the Muslim chaplain and the Quran, “muslims that teach … this nonsense”; homosexuality, adultery, fornication, bestiality and sex with children listed as sin; telling someone that accepting “born that way” condemns people to death from HIV/AIDS and hell.
