Pastor David G. Kincer traces Judah’s move from the corrupt rule of Jehoiakim to captivity under pagan Babylon, warned of in Leviticus 26. Through Jeremiah, God told the captives to build homes, raise families, seek the city’s peace and reject false prophets. Daniel and his friends were made ten times better and moved pagan kings to honor God. Daniel 11–12 promises people of understanding who instruct many before the end.

Who was Jehoiakim?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: Daniel 1:1: in the third year of Jehoiakim, Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem. Jehoiakim did evil, executed the prophet Urijah, built wealth at citizens’ expense and cut up and burned Jeremiah’s scroll in defiance of God.

▶ 0:00 Last week we showed you a change in government. From a corrupt hostile evil government to a government whose heart was after God. Today we’re going to look at another change of government okay. From a corrupt hostile to God israeli government to a hostile corrupt pagan one okay in. Daniel 1:1 we’re going to go to Daniel Daniel was carried away captive he was one of the small group that was carried away first and Daniel says in the third year of the corrupt. Jehoiakim king of Judah Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came and besieged Jerusalem and took captives all right.

▶ 0:59 We had a very corrupt. Israeli king. Jehoiakim was very evil the Bible says walked not in the ways of the Lord. His father Josiah was the last good king of Israel so he didn’t follow his father’s example how many are finding out that your kids don’t always follow your godly example. Yes. Okay you’re not the first ones that happened to. He executed God’s prophet Urijah. He did much evil in the Lord’s sight and he built himself an elaborate home and

▶ 1:52 Elaborate amount of wealth at. The citizens expense. Cut up the scriptures he is the king that actually cut up the scriptures of Jeremiah the prophet and burned them in the fire in open defiance against God in his word the Jewish encyclopedia tells us that Jehoiakim had incestuous relationships with his mother his daughter-in-law and his stepmother. That he murdered men and. after murdering them he took their wives and violated their wives and took their property and build his own wealth through that means. Well folks that’s pretty corrupt alright.

Why did God punish the whole nation?

▶ Watch this part (2:44)

Short answer: He says the people did nothing and didn’t stand up against a corrupt government, so being quiet won’t spare you. Babylon took the rich, educated leaders, not the unproductive.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 2:44 He also tattooed his body and he reversed his circumcision and I thought how in the world do you reverse the circumcision and I looked it up and it is possible I didn’t get it that now understand he didn’t want to identify with God’s people at all just openly defiant very wicked very evil. The priests and the kings and some of the people arrested and tried to kill Jeremiah and they rejected his words from God and the citizens sat and did nothing because I was always asking God why do you punish a whole nation for a corrupt government because they did not stand up against that corrupt government.

▶ 3:46 And we think that if we be quiet and do nothing. that we won’t be dealt with no you can’t you got to be involved now you got to understand that the captives that the king of Babylon took were rich they were leaders they were the educated the learned he didn’t bother with the high school dropouts he didn’t bother with the unproductive parts of the kingdom are you out there do you understand also that all through the Bible when God chose men and women he chose successful ones. Think about it and when Jesus chose twelve apostles he chose twelve successful ones he didn’t choose the beggars he didn’t choose the poor.

Why did the captivity happen?

▶ Watch this part (4:42)

Short answer: Leviticus 26:27–33: if you walk contrary to me, I will punish you seven times for your sins, scatter you among the heathen, and your land and cities will be desolate. God sent wars, plagues and famine to correct them first; Jeremiah warned for decades.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 4:42 He chose people that were going somewhere had goals had achievement. something for you to think about huh yeah. Now. This happened in 607 bc. But Leviticus 26:27 tells us why it happened almost nine hundred years before told us why they were going to go into captivity if you do not hearken unto me and if you walk contrary to me so see God said if you’re going to walk contrary to me you’re going to disobey and reject my way and not listen to my voice and and the voices of my prophets this is what will happen why it happens is we live the way we want what happens is I will punish you seven times for your sins now how many of you scholars know that God brought wars trying to correct them God brought plagues trying to correct them God brought acts of God trying to correct them and God brought famine trying to correct and his last correction.

▶ 6:02 How I will scatter you among the heathen your land and cities shall be desolate this was a hundred ninety-three years before it happened God spoke this through Moses fifteen hundred years before Christ came and you know years after years go by and we think the scriptures aren’t going to be fulfilled and bam they are. Then here comes Jeremiah Starting at 32 years before the captivity and up to the captivity first captivity and past the first captivity into the second and third captivity Jeremiah. Prophesied that Judah shall be carried away captive and he prophesied it would be the king of Babylon.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Leviticus 26:27-33 (NKJV)

‘And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me, then I also will walk contrary to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters. I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you. I will lay your cities waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your sweet aromas. I will bring the land to desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it. I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you; your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.

— Leviticus 26:27-33 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 5:04

What did God tell the captives to do in daily life?

▶ Watch this part (7:03)

Short answer: Jeremiah 29: build houses, plant gardens, take wives, beget children and increase there. Keep your domestic life together under correction—God is a father who isn’t out to over-punish but to change you.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 7:03 And he prophesied that the temple and the city would be destroyed and they didn’t listen to it didn’t listen to him at all. Now I want to show you some unusual things in this captivity captivity when I was a young Christian sounded horrible. but as I matured and started understanding the word of God and how God is a father. Captivity has its place all right. He’s going to give domestic instructions during this punishment time. He’s going to tell them how to handle domestic thing work. Make a living provide for your home marry the opposite sex have children and raise them in the ways of God under.

▶ 8:05 Pagan. Laws and a pagan government that’s hostile. And corrupt they already experienced a hostile and corrupt government that wasn’t new but now it’s a pagan one ones that flat out reject God and his word are you with me does this make sense so far alright so we go. to verse 6 in Jeremiah take wives beget children let your children marry and bear children that you increase there and not diminish Jeremiah 29:1 the letter Jeremiah’s sent to the elders the priests and the prophets and all carried away captive so this letter this prophecy of Jeremiah not only addressed the leaders.

▶ 9:02 Address. The temple leaders the religious leaders and address the prophets and everyone that was carried away with him you didn’t have to be a prophet a priest or a leader for this prophecy it was for everyone everyone got it now this is the second captivity. The first one is just a few hundred were taken captive but this one ten thousand the Bible says it says six thousand one place ten thousand another I’m going to take the 10,000 all right that’s about fifteen percent of the population at the time not all of Israel went into captivity. Just about fifteen percent of the population went into captivity and he left the poor I told you he left the high school dropouts he left the underachievers he left those that weren’t going anywhere not doing anything.

▶ 10:00 He took the craftsmen the wise ones the men of valor the people of nobility people with purposes what he did he didn’t want the bums over in Babylon are you there you say man that’s horrible yeah we have way too much focus on the poor. especially when the poor’s choice got them there. And. Reagan said it when he was president. They are there because of their choice. now some aren’t but most are [unclear] and the ones that aren’t the family is responsible for them according to the Bible okay now. He says build houses dwell in them plant gardens and eat its fruit that’s just normal life in there right he said hey keep your domestic life even when I’m punishing you keep your domestic life together.

▶ 11:05 Marry bear children raise them work provide and that’s. what American Christians that are really believing and dedicated to God has been doing for 30 years under a corrupt American government. We kept our domestic life together we got our kids out of public school so they wouldn’t be taught that nonsense and not you know we didn’t follow the ways we didn’t we didn’t we didn’t believe the lies and all that going on than that right we gotta God want you to keep your family together even when he is bringing correction to you he is a father he isn’t going to over punish you he’s out to change you ain’t that beautiful.

— Jeremiah 29:5-6 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 8:35 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

What spiritual instructions did God give?

▶ Watch this part (12:01)

Short answer: Jeremiah 29:7–9: seek the peace of the city where I caused you to be carried captive, pray to the Lord for it, for in its peace you will have peace; don’t let false prophets or your own dreams deceive you.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 12:01 he gave them also spiritual instructions during this punishment seek the peace of the city where I’ve caused you to be carried away captive and that’s what we’ve done we’ve been praying for 30 years. Pray to the Lord for it for in its peace you shall have peace and we have been seeking God we’ve been praying he says do not let your false prophets deceive you. Okay don’t let these false prophets deceive you I haven’t sent them okay and don’t listen to your own dreams your own opinions. You know it’s just not false prophets getting out there and shootin their mouth off its local people shootin their mouth off well I believe what I believe who cares what you believe it’s what the Bible says [unclear] amen and everybody has their little personal opinion he said don’t listen to your own opinion and don’t listen to the false prophets.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Jeremiah 29:7-9 (NKJV)

And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace. For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the LORD.

— Jeremiah 29:7-9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 12:05 (quoted; reference not named in the message)

How can you recognize false prophets and wrong opinions?

▶ Watch this part (13:05)

Short answer: They go to extremes—God won’t punish, there’s no hell, it’ll be over soon. You know a false teaching because it brings division in homes, marriages and churches; heresy means to divide.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 13:05 So the bottom line here is God requires his people to seek him and pray while being punished not woe is me you didn’t hear Daniel complaining and whoa why are you doing this God the he just stayed consistent and serve God and kept praying and he said to pray for the peace of those that are mistreating him. Alright and that you will have peace now false prophets and false leaders and believers personal opinions they reach extremes. They say well we’re not going to go into captivity God’s not going to punish his people God’s a God of love he’s not going to punish God doesn’t do that there’s no hell you know.

▶ 13:58 You’ve heard it right yeah they go to ridiculous extremes and that’s what they did back there and if they did go into captivity when they didn’t want well it won’t be long God’s going to break the yoke of Babylon and he’s going to set you free and you’re going to go back to your land and God had already decided a timeline when they were going to go back but if his people would have humbled himself and prayed and turn from their wicked ways would he have shortened that timeline absolutely. But they did the way you know a false prophet and if your opinion is false is it brings division it brings division your home it brings division in your marriage it brings division in the church. And when division is come somebody’s on the wrong side.

▶ 14:54 Are you out there yeah you can tell false prophets you can tell when your opinions wrong it isn’t an innocent opinion when it hurts somebody else. Just let that sink in and divorces come when one of the spouses choose a direction that’s not right and it causes what division a home the children and all the rest in the community and the church. Are you there alleluia and when that happens if it’s in a marriage or a home or in a community in a church we need to ask ourselves am I on the right side or I’m is this my opinion or am I listening to false teachers you see false teachers are heretical teachers the word heresy mean to divide to separate.

Can God use his people while correcting them?

▶ Watch this part (16:02)

Short answer: Yes—in captivity the captors changed their anti-God views and laws. You don’t have to be perfect to be used of God; even at our lowest we can influence others.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 16:02 the idea the doctrine or the act separates from what is right and true are you there and we need to ask yourself am I on the right side could that be [unclear] I am I on the right side I’m either one causing this conflict. ain’t that beautiful and God said don’t listen to them and don’t listen to yourself when you’re wrong you’re wrong and you can know it by the harm that’s being done in a division that’s being brought now. Look at this in captivity the captors change their anti God views and they change their anti-god laws while they’re in captivity. Their captors their enemies their opponents are going to change their views and going to change the laws while God is punishing in his people.

What kind of people were taken to Babylon?

▶ Watch this part (17:02)

Short answer: Daniel 1:4: of good appearance, skillful in all wisdom, cunning in knowledge, understanding science. He says good science and the Bible never conflict; evolution is still a theory.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 17:02 Are you there this is powerful I. Told you for 40 years that God can use us to reach the world while he’s changing us into his image you don’t have to be perfect to be used of God and we shouldn’t give up on ourselves even at our lowest level we have power in God to influence others they’re going to recognize the one true God and his followers the one true God there in a pagan nation that worships all kinds of God Daniel 1:4 many this is the first one now for Daniel 1 many of these in captivity had good appearance folks God does care about your appearance he keeps saying that all through the Bible you know use deodorant wash yourself brush your teeth groom your hair geez help people to accept you they were skillful and all wisdom they were cunning in knowledge and they understood science.

▶ 18:18 Is a science good science and the Bible are never in conflict it’s bad science and the Bible that brings the conflict and bad science is not science that’s people’s opinion that’s people’s theories and ideas until it’s proven one hundred percent it is not a law that’s what I was taught in school and that is accurate it is a theory until it is proven totally by every experiment every observation then it becomes a law becomes a fact it becomes a truth that’s why the atomic theory is still a theory. And. Evolution is still a theory it doesn’t work.

Daniel 1:4 (NKJV)

What did God do for Daniel and his friends?

▶ Watch this part (19:12)

Short answer: Daniel 1:17, 20: God gave the four knowledge and wisdom, and they were ten times better than the king’s magicians. Even in captivity we can have a powerful voice when we stand for God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 19:12 I. These are these are noble people these are people that are going somewhere do you see that. we need to be people going somewhere domestically and spiritually amen if you get anything out of this message get this that God wants to bless you domestically in your home with a job providing a good marriage and good children and influence the community with that and he wants you to be spiritual too. Alleluia. Now this is the first captivity in verse 17 of Daniel one these four God took out four Shadrach Meshach Abednego and Daniel and he gave knowledge understanding and wisdom to these four above the many that already had it he took four and stepped them up a level is that okay yes it’s okay if I’m on the second level hey I don’t care as long as the job’s getting done amen.

▶ 20:19 They were ten times better than the kings magicians and astrologers. God took four and made them ten times better are you there and this is punishment this is captivity captivity is when you don’t have a right to your opinions and your ways and your lifestyle or whatever and your worship for your God that’s what we’ve been in for 30 years in America we’ve been in captivity to a philosophy that took away our religious freedom to speak out you get on tv in the 90s and you said the homosexual was a sin they took you off the air ten times better than this is powerful and we you know even in captivity we can have a powerful voice when we stand for God and right amen it’s not a depressive yes we shouldn’t be there but God’s correct and that’s like a father corrects his son is it isn’t that what a good father does yes.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Daniel 1:17-20 (NKJV)

As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.

What is “more than a man”?

▶ Watch this part (21:18)

Short answer: Understanding the times with successful scriptural, spiritual and domestic action. Romans 8:37: in all these things we are more than conquerors.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 21:18 So my statement is more than a man is understanding the times with successful scriptural spiritual domestic action could that be a good statement when you act like more than a man we’re talking about acting like a man yes last week and today I’m telling you you can act like more than a man and that is you’re not only are brave and courageous and stand up but you have understanding to know what to do. Hallelujah and it says in Romans 8:37 in all these things we are more than what conquerors were more than a courageous man we’ve gone to where we understand the times that we understand what to do but you know you have to get into the Bible and you got to hear teachers that are teaching truth and all that you got to put some effort for that to happen.

How did pagan kings change their laws?

▶ Watch this part (22:11)

Short answer: Daniel 3:28–29: after the fiery furnace the king decreed no one could speak against their God. Daniel 6: Daniel kept praying three times a day, survived the lions’ den, and the king decreed all should tremble before the God of Daniel, the living God.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 22:11 Daniel 3:28 the God of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego change the king’s word that they might not serve nor worship any God except their own God I make a decree I make a law that anyone speaking against their God shall be cut in pieces their house torn down. See they made a new law they changed their view why because these guys said we’re not bowing to your idol king our God can save us they said our God will save us but if not understand mr. King we bow and they went into the fiery furnace that wasn’t the great message is they came out of the fiery furnace was the great message amen oh and us going into troubles and problems in tribulation isn’t the great message is us serving God and standing for God and coming out of that.

▶ 23:13 Amen yes. Hello I’m a Christian and they’re persecuting me you know oh get off of it hang in there [unclear] in the end you’re going to win all right now Daniel in chapter 6 verse 7 another king made a decree that no one could pray to any God but the king for 30 days and Daniel as was his habit went to his house prayed with the windows open and thank God and this is what the church has got to really understand we don’t worship prayer we don’t worship thanksgiving we don’t worship worship. We worship God with these weapons of worship and praise and thanksgiving in prayer amen there’s people that make a God out of prayer they make a God out of worship they make a God out of a out of a youth program our children’s program listen and there’s parents that make a God out of their children.

▶ 24:23 They love their children more than God it doesn’t work. Doesn’t work. And he got on his knees man I pray the day when God’s church can honestly just kneel down before God without thinking [unclear] is this Simon says am I just doing it because they get over that stop it is a scripture to kneel before the Lord our God our maker isn’t that right hallelujah it’s scriptural to lift your hands it’s scriptural to praise him and thank him is scriptural to pray and in those spiritual weapons we get results and Daniel did it three times a day and they came and caught in his enemies caught him took him to the king he was cast into the lions den and again it wasn’t that he was cast into the lions den the thing was the next morning he was alive he was sleeping in the lion’s den and the.

▶ 25:24 King come and said oh Daniel was your God able to deliver you the king was on his side and then his opponents were cast into the lions den is he his opponent the opponents got what they purpose to do to a righteous man they got the punishment for it. Alleluia then this is there in captivity and great things are going wouldn’t you say this is great and it doesn’t stop there look at this Daniel 6 verse 26 the king says I make a decree I make a law that in every dominion every state every province of my kingdom men tremble in fear before the God of Daniel. What’s the word.

▶ 26:18 Before don’t go to the pagan places don’t go to your old places you go and you. Tremble and fear before God Daniel’s God. Amen this is while they’re in captivity folks. And. Then he gets a word of Revelation this heathen king gets a word of Revelation Daniel’s God is the living God he’s alive he’s not a statue. He’s not a society of social group he’s the living God he’s unwavering forever doesn’t the Bible say he’s the same yesterday today and forever then the Bible say he is not a respecter of persons he is unwavering his truth he’s unwavering he’s not moving and this pagan king was smarter than a Lot of Christians in America today our God does not waver he doesn’t change his laws because you feel that in your opinion that abortions wrong or or homosexual you know is okay and all that God stands firm and this heathen king sees it.

▶ Watch this part (27:34)

Okay as you’ll see later he’s talking about the end time when is the end time when Christ returns the second time when there is a new age a new world coming and now right the people who understand number one there are some people in the end time who what they what they understand and they.

▶ 28:50 Are instructing many many means a great number so what are these people of understanding doing in the end time. Instructing [unclear]. They’re instructing. Many a great number. Now this is Daniel talking. Some of them of understanding shall fall it’s actually means stumble ah it doesn’t mean our backslide I go man what was that teeth and I keep going I’m backslide I don’t turn away from God I just stumble got it and it’s there to test me these stumbling things are there to what test them try them okay let me quickly show you in Matthew 26:31 all of you will be made to stumble because of me Jesus said so one of the things we stumble over is Jesus Christ himself and how does that happen people say Jesus is a myth he’s not real he’s a fairy tale oh oh man you’re just believing a lie you just believe in a book that’s [unclear] and just just a bunch of fairy tales and I stumble at it and I listened to it and I but I get up and I shake myself and I get the under

Short answer: Claims that Jesus is a myth or not God in the flesh (John 1:1, 14), and being called hateful for holding biblical views on sin. They get understanding and get back up.

Statements from secular people talking about Jesus and the Christians and the church at that time a man get back up yeah I got the answer I didn’t just give in to their ideology and they say that God Jesus is not God in the flesh. In the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld him as he only begotten son of God Jesus Christ the righteous one amen he is God in the flesh and I stumble Jesus only people trinity people uh you know everybody the Mormons are you know he’s just a prophet like Joseph Smith he’s not a prophet like Joseph Smith [unclear] nobody comes he’s in a level all by himself.

▶ 31:29 Hello. And. So we stumble we stumble when the word brings mistreatment by others and the parable of the sower when persecution in trouble opposition comes they stumble it doesn’t mean they quit doesn’t mean they give up they stumble and they these guys get their act together they find out the truth and they follow it are you with me hallelujah and this is happening when in the last days at the end. The word if you believe that these things are sin immoral sex including homosexuality sex with kids and orgies sex with animals and all that if you believe that killing a baby in the womb on demand is wrong.

▶ 32:21 Okay if you believe that abuse of kids and our day it’s horrible what’s going on with kids in America and no one’s addressing that if you believe that intoxication is wrong if you believe welfare without work is wrong then they’re going to say you’re a hate person you got a message of hate you’re a bigot you know you’re destroying this nation and you’re destroying lies that’s what they’re going to say and you’re going to stumble and you’re going to well you know am I a hater of homosexuals because I believe God says it’s wrong I’m a hater and a hater of pedophiles because I believe it we shouldn’t have sex with children and oh are you there and so we start questioning and so forth but we these people want they get back up they get the understanding and they get back up amen.

▶ Watch this part (33:25)

Short answer: Daniel 11:35: to purge them and make them white, even to the time of the end. Revelation 19:7–8: the bride has made herself ready, arrayed in fine linen, the righteous acts of the saints. Watch the church to understand the end times.

▶ 33:25 And it comes to test you what’s side of right are you on [unclear]. To purge them and make them white even to the time of the end. You see Daniel had said earlier that his a pagan king that his dominion his rulership will be to the end now Daniel says not only his rulership at the end but he’s got a people who understand and they’re teaching other people who understand and they’re teaching other people who understand amen. Powerful and we’re going to be purge purge is getting the dross yes thank you dross the impurities out see.

▶ 34:18 But getting the impurities out is one thing your old sin out but he wants to put in righteousness within you and so it says in Revelation the marriage of the lamb has come when will that happen at the end at the end and his wife the church has what made herself ready ready wow ready they are people who understand they are instructed many they’ve being purged they’ve been made white amen do you see that. now she’s arrayed in fine linen white. Linen. White fine linen he defines what it is here and that’s where you need to get your definition of words in from the Bible fine.

▶ 35:12 White bright linen is the what righteous acts of the saints so up here there’s a people who understand what’s going on in the last days and they’re instructed many a great number who understand what’s going on in the last day and some of them will be tried and stumble and purged and made white or made to act in God’s righteous ways. The righteous and they’re acting rightly it’s not just a position anymore it is a condition in the church that we are speaking and living like God said to do and that’s when is that happening in the last day they got you looking to the east Jerusalem and they got you looking at Russia the bear coming down they got you looking on a Lot of things besides the church and when I was a young Christian the Holy Ghost came to me and said David if you want to understand the end times watch the church and I didn’t understand what he said but I would say it when I was preaching keep your eye on the church now I got understanding as time went by and it’s there we just haven’t been taught it.

Can Jesus come any minute?

▶ Watch this part (36:29)

Short answer: Daniel 11:35: the end is yet for a time appointed. He says an appointed time isn’t “any minute”; Jesus hasn’t returned because this hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:29 Oh. Ha was that worth waiting for. This is powerful stuff church the churches have gone down to [unclear] it’s going out being more than a man acting more than a man no I have an understanding of the times and what to do are you with me. For the end is yet for a time appointed now if you got an appointed time haven’t you know that’s not any minute. You know my wife’s going to fly up to see her sick sister and she’s going to get a plane that says it’s going to leave at such-and-such a time all right now that plane might leave a little later or it might leave a little earlier but she better be out there at that window because it ain’t coming any minute.

▶ 37:27 In all right see you going to miss the flight and God has an appointed time and it’s not any minute and why didn’t he come yesterday why didn’t he come today and why isn’t he coming tomorrow because this has not been fulfilled yet that’s just one of the things we don’t have a Lot of wise people running around teaching other people the understanding of the end time do it we don’t have a Lot of Christians that are being purged and made white and living righteously by the word of God do it and that is a promise that. Would happen and you got to remember his blood his death is the power of that promise. His blood not only forgives you it cleanses you and delivers you from sin that you can walk in righteousness and he’s going to bring that to a great head before he comes back that’s beautiful church that’s exciting I got something to look forward to.

Daniel 11:35 (NKJV)

Did Daniel understand his own vision?

▶ Watch this part (38:36)

Short answer: Daniel 12:8–10: no; the words are sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified and made white; the wicked shall do wickedly; the wise shall understand—a great number, as Revelation 7 says.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 38:36 Actually I’ll probably beyond the grave before all this happened but anyway. Daniel 12:9 in closing. Now this is this is Daniel talking. God’s talking to Daniel and when God got through talking to Daniel Daniel just says I don’t understand. Did he the one who got the vision said what I don’t understand and yet everybody today understands Daniel and Daniel didn’t understand it. And I right and so God speaks to Daniel and he says Daniel the words are what sealed their shut up you don’t understand it no one understands it I got what I taught you is sealed till they what time of the end.

▶ 39:42 Now how many of you know with the people during Christ’s first coming was not going going around saying but he’s going to be born of a virgin oh he’s going to be born in Bethlehem hallelujah oh and the kids two years old and under gonna die and I haven’t you know that wasn’t the message. But when Christ came and he began to what fulfill it then they go oh emmanuel God with us that’s him the messiah he he’s born he’s born of a virgin this Mary Mary’s son that’s Jesus that’s what the Bible says then they got one understanding. Ha. Alleluia. But we got everybody interpreting Daniel when Daniel couldn’t interpret it. Many a great number shall be purified refined to made white and know what it said here many a great number this is not the eight in Noah’s time or the three in Lot’s time or the 70 that went down with Joseph into Egypt.

▶ 40:53 This is a what great number those examples were few but the end result is what a great number and Revelation 7 says a number that no man can number. Wow. The wicked shall do wickedly and none shall understand how many can you talk to people then it’s just hopeless yeah they just set in their ways and they’re going to do that and they won’t listen to the Holy Ghost conviction they won’t listen to you or anybody the wicked are going to do wickedly and that’s what the parable of the sower says the tares and wheat grow together okay the tares the wicked people get mature in their beliefs and lifestyle and the we the people of God [unclear] but the wise shall what understand didn’t Jesus say I’m going to send you prophets

▶ 41:52 Scribes teachers and wise men. Folks he’s got to fulfill that and we have not seen the restoration of wise men wise men know the understanding of the time what to do how to do any attitude to do it to do it in that’s a wise man. we need to pray God restores that [unclear] he said he would send us but I never seen wise men and God said he would send wise men. Hallelujah do we have something to pray for yes these people understand all right you remember Zechariah and Elizabeth they were perfect concerning the law you people way you can’t do this well Zechariah and Elizabeth was see if he can do it with a few can he do it with the church the body of Christ the bride [unclear].

▶ 42:51 Absolutely. That’s the power of the blood of Christ it’s his death that did all this and open a door to all this. So what do we understand that the church is made wise and right before the second coming.

About this transcript

This transcript comes from YouTube’s automatic English captions, which supply the timing and the words. Punctuation, capitalization and paragraphing were added from the speaker’s pauses and then corrected by hand, and obvious caption errors (names, Bible references) were fixed; his wording was not rewritten. “[unclear]” marks a word or name that was not clear. Editor notes: Points to check: Daniel 3:28 spoken as “Daniel 838”; Daniel 1:1 spoken as “Daniel 11”; captivity dated 607 BC; “193 years” and “nine hundred years” intervals; captives 10,000 about 15% of population; Jewish Encyclopedia claims (incest, murder, tattoos, reversed circumcision) about Jehoiakim; Reagan quote on the poor; the Spirit telling him “watch the church”. Sensitive content kept as spoken: God chose successful people, not beggars or the poor; “too much focus on the poor”; American Christians “in captivity” for 30 years; homosexuality-sin statements taken off TV; homosexuality, pedophilia and bestiality listed; welfare without work wrong; Jesus-only/Trinity/Mormon references.
