From the sermonA Test Sign: Why Do You Follow Jesus? — May 2, 2021 · Pastor David G. Kincer▶ 0:00

Pastor David G. Kincer presents the feeding of the five thousand as a test: Jesus asked Philip where to buy bread, then fed thousands from a boy’s lunch. The crowd followed for loaves, not signs. Jesus told them to labor for food that endures, Himself the bread of life. His death activated an inheritance, and He asks why we follow Him.

Why long for God’s house?

Thank you for joining us miss woods is going to share the scripture this morning so let’s listen hear what God has to say. Good morning we know Joshua said as for me and my house of the Lord but sometimes in our house it’s not always so with everyone there so we’re going to read out of Malachi chapter 7 it says the day of your watchmen has come the day God visits you now is the time of their confusion do not trust a neighbor put no confidence in a friend even even with her who lies in your embrace be careful of your words for a son dishonors his father a daughter rises up against her mother a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law a man’s enemies are the members of his own household verse 7 says but as for me I watch for I watch and hope for the Lord I wait for the God of my salvation.

▶ 1:11 My God will hear me we know in Matthew 2 in the New Testament it states that. Our enemies can be of our own household but take heart today because that is not the end in the same chapter in Malachi it says I’m sorry it’s Micah and Micah says the day for building your walls will come the day for extending your boundaries in that day people will come to you from australia from the cities of Egypt even from Egypt to the euphrates and from sea to sea from mountain to mountain for the earth is the lord’s in the fullness thereof and we have a great promise yes maybe we do face enemies in this lifetime but the Bible is stating today that this is a time where God is building his house building his church and the the ends of the earth will be gathered in to his house his dwelling place is lovely amen amen praise the Lord amen.

What happens when we wait on the Lord?

▶ Watch this part (24:02)

Short answer: They shall renew their strength, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 24:02 Separated. That I may. Be. What I was. Born. Let’s take time. To wait. Upon. The Lord. Let’s take time.

▶ 24:58 To listen. To his voice. As the Lord builds them. Let’s take time. To. We take time. To wait upon. The Lord. We take time.

▶ 25:53 To listen to your voice. Unless the Lord. Builds. We take time. To. Oh.

▶ 27:32 Upon. Oh. Jesus. Right now let’s just bow our heads in prayer this morning. With a desire to hear God has to say to us individually. Just as a church. Let’s listen to his voice this morning so open your ears and your hearts. As we sing this one more time. Let’s take time. To wait upon.

▶ 28:27 The Lord. Let’s take time. To listen to his voice. Unless the Lord builds the house. We labor in pain. Let’s take time. To wait. Upon. They that wait upon the low. Shall renew.

▶ 29:20 Their strength. They shall mount up. They shall run and not be weary. They. Shall. Faith. Teach me Lord. Teach me. Lord. Upon the Lord. Shall renew. Their strength. They shall mount uh with wings as. Eagles.

▶ 30:13 They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Teach me Lord. Teach. Me. Lord Jesus we thank you this morning God Lord God we pray that you continue God to make us new creatures this morning Jesus. Lord that you continue to change us God Lord that as Christians Lord we would move from faith to faith we would add to our faith Jesus love brotherly kindness all those things you have in your word Jesus God Lord today we may think that we’re just going to stay the way we are or stay stagnant God we don’t want to stay stagnant.

▶ 31:10 Jesus we want to add to what you’ve already given to us Jesus. God if we don’t have a mouth that speaks out your word and stands for truth we pray for that boldness God we pray for courage Jesus to stand up for what is right Jesus God though we may be timid though we may be quiet God open loosen our lips God like you did with the prophet God you touched his lips with the cold Jesus God you transformed his mouth. God we need a transformation Jesus. Lord if it’s we’re living in sin and speaking things that are wrong God we need a change in our mouth if it’s that we are Christians and we are not saying anything about God and lifting up his name and we’re saying negative things on God we need to change our mouth God we pray.

▶ 32:02 God make us new creatures give us a new mouth Lord Jesus. And we thank you for this wonderful day we ask you bless the service. Jesus. You may find your seats this morning. And ask the pastor to come up share God’s word. Let’s open up our ears so God can change our mouth amen. Okay we’ve been talking. Out of John chapter 20 verse 30. Many other signs did Jesus in the presence of of his disciples earlier in John he said if everything was written that Jesus did the heavens couldn’t contain the books.

Why was John written?

▶ Watch this part (32:59)

Short answer: That you may believe Jesus is the Christ; no book or statement of faith can reveal Him — only the Father.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 32:59 And so these are written. In this book of John so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the son of God and that by believing you may have eternal life in his name not grace and faith and all this other stuff not any denomination but in Jesus Christ Peter said to Jesus you are the Christ the son of the living God. Jesus said flesh and blood hasn’t revealed that to you Peter but my father in heaven and that makes the difference between christianity and religion is God is involved. So it’s imperative that God Jesus and the Holy Ghost reveals Jesus the messiah the Christ the son of God to us and reveals truth to us we can’t go to the Bible with a human intellectual approach and understand the Bible God has to reveal truth to us.

▶ 34:03 There’s not a Christian book or religion statement of faith. Or even yourself. That can reveal the scriptures to you only God. We need graduates from the school of the spirit. More than Bible college seminaries. And government universities. Not that they’re bad they just need to come out also. Graduating from the school of the spirit the spirit opening up the truth. Today in this session we’re going to find Jesus is going to ask people why do you follow me. And so Jesus is going to be asking us today why are you following Jesus why. What’s your objective what’s your mission what’s your purpose.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 20:31 (NKJV)

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

What is the tenth session?

▶ Watch this part (34:56)

Short answer: A sign that tests why people follow Jesus.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 34:56 And this is our 10th session. And this 10th session is going to be dealing with a sign that test a sign is going to test the apostles a sign that’s going to test. Those multitudes that are following him so we go to John chapter six. Verse two and ten a great multitude of ten thousand to fifteen thousand people and maybe more than fifteen thousand. Follow Jesus. And they followed him number one for this reason. Because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were. Diseased that’s why they were following they wanted to see another show they had been healed and they want to watch other people get healed and go ah look at that hand grow oh look at that blended eyes open oh look at that lame man get up and walk.

How did Jesus test Philip?

▶ Watch this part (36:00)

Short answer: Where shall we buy bread? Philip said 200 denarii wasn’t enough.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 36:00 Turned into a entertainment session. So Jesus. Turns to Philip. And he says Philip. Where are we going to buy bread to feed these multitudes so they may eat. And this Jesus said to prove Philip to test him for Jesus already knew what he was going to do and folks Jesus knows what he is going to do in your life in a church life he knows but he wants to come and let you know where you are at in his plans of things hallelujah. John 6 verse 5.

▶ 36:55 So in verse 7. Philip responds and says 200 denarii of bread isn’t sufficient for each to have a little bit. That adds up to 680. But the question is where are they going to get the bread. It isn’t like there’s bakeries all around. He’s out on the seaside. And this crowd fed themself before. They found lodging before in between sessions they fed themselves before. Jesus didn’t need to feed this crowd. They had been following him for a long time feeding themself and finding lodging in between meetings. So andrew.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 6:5-7 (NKJV)

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”

— John 6:5-7 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 36:00

What did Andrew find?

▶ Watch this part (37:47)

Short answer: A lad with five barley loaves and two small fish.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 37:47 Said there’s a lad here that has five barley loaves and two small fish but what are they among so many. So basically they failed the test but they did have a response. Later Jesus said you know you have a hard heart you’re not understanding these things because you still have a hard heart how many of us who follow Christ could still have a hard heart insensitive yes yeah. They’re thinking by the human mind not the spirit mind well if we had 680 bucks we could buy bread but that would only be a couple of ounces per each one. Well we got two barley loaves and two small fishes five barley loaves and two small fishes well but you know that’s not going to go anywhere their best answer would have been Lord.

▶ 38:48 You know. How we going to get through this problem how are we going to get through this challenge that God has given us Lord you know come on open up make it plain. Amen. Then. We go on to verse 12 when the 15 000 were filled. They ate and they were filled they said this is truly the prophet. Who is to come into the world now what did John say. These signs were written so you might believe Jesus is the Christ the son of God and in believing you might have eternal life here this crowd many of them anyway. Confess that Jesus was the prophet promised to come not just the Christ not just the messiah not just the son of God but he was also the prophet that was to come into the world see the sign work can I hear an amen I I talk with people on facebook and they go signs you know you can’t depend on sound you can’t worship signs and signs are not for today and and don’t seek signs and all the rest ah good God.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 6:9 (NKJV)

“There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”

— John 6:9 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 37:47

Are signs still for today?

▶ Watch this part (40:10)

Short answer: Yes; signs are part of God’s inheritance and cause many to believe.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 40:10 Signs are still part of God’s inheritance whether people use them wrongly and seek them wrongly or not is that an amen. So. Jesus perceived in verse 15 that they were about to come and take him by force. To make him king so he departed snuck away. Now they not only confessed him as prophet but now they recognize him as the king that was supposed to come. So they know he is the son of God the messiah. The Christ. They know he is the prophet and they know he is the king the signs are working church amen.

▶ 41:06 Shouldn’t we today believe in signs because signs can cause many people to believe that Jesus is the Christ the messiah the son of God and have everlasting life can I hear an amen for signs. Hallelujah. And Jesus didn’t want to be a natural king over natural Israel he come to be a spiritual king over spiritual Israel his church. So we go to verse 19 and we see Jesus walking on the sea of Galilee. And it’s a stormy sea there’s a storm blowing.

▶ 41:58 And in John that’s all he says so that’s all we’re going to say. Jesus walked on the stormy sea he got into the boat and immediately after the boat had rode a few miles that boat went right to shore. And the sea was calm. So the multitudes wake up the next morning. And Jesus isn’t around. And they’re looking for Jesus. And they’re asking everywhere where’s Jesus where’d he go what happened what’s going on and but they did see the apostles get in a boat. And head out to the other side of the sea of Galilee so there were some other boats there and they got into those boats and went over to the other side of the sea of Galilee now you got to get the picture here.

▶ 42:56 There’s 15 000 people here folks. There’s only a few boats it’s going to take a lot of ferrying back and forth to get those people on the other side. And those fishermen aren’t going to stop what they’re doing just to carry people they’re going to charge a fee. And so you got a big. Exodus one side of the sea of Galilee to the other this takes some time so they get over to the other side of Galilee and they find Jesus. And they said this. Rabbi. When did you come here oh rabbi you’re such a great per can you feel it in the tone.

Why did the crowd follow?

▶ Watch this part (43:51)

Short answer: Not because of signs, but because they ate the loaves and were filled.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 43:51 And oh you’re such a great speaker you’re such a great you’re such a great man yeah they’re covering up really what they’re after. Oh rabbi nice titles give them the titles and nothing like a title you know. And Jesus. Had already said. That a lot of this. Crowd are sheep. Without a shepherd. A lot of this crowd were unbelievers. Just letting that sink in and yet they’re saying rabbi. Yeah where did you when did you come here. So Jesus replies and says you seek me not for the signs you saw now.

▶ 44:54 But because you ate of the loaves and were filled. You don’t care if I’m a rabbi you don’t care if I’m a master you don’t care if I’m a savior you don’t care if I’m the son of God you’re wanting another meal. Entertainment isn’t enough for you anymore you’re wanting another meal you’re wanting to get rich through me to. Get possessions through me. Now remember. A lot of this crowd understood Jesus is the prophet. Jesus is the king. Jesus is the son of God the messiah the Christ and the way to eternal life.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

John 6:26 (NKJV)

Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

— John 6:26 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 44:54

What food should we labor for?

▶ Watch this part (45:51)

Short answer: Not the food that perishes, but that which endures to everlasting life.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 45:51 And Jesus responds again and says do not labor. For the food which perishes. Don’t work for the food which perishes. And he’s not talking about natural bread he’s talking about natural bread as an illustration of spiritual bread. Don’t labor. For the food which perishes. Religion will give you food that has no nourishment. But labor for the food which endures to eternal life. Which the son of man will give you. The son of man will give you the food that brings eternal life.

▶ 46:43 You guys are eating religious food that doesn’t bring eternal life and he uses the word work the word labor how many of you heard out there in the church world were saved by grace through faith not of works. Yeah. We take that to such an eccentric extreme. That we forget we’ve got to work we’ve got to put some effort we’ve got to put some labor into finding Jesus. And partaking of Jesus and maintaining Jesus could that be an amen. Hallelujah. You’re not supposed to count on your own works that you make up or religions make.

▶ 47:36 Up. And Jesus really hits them with the bomb you know here he says. Labor for the food which endures to eternal life endures carries on from your lifetime which the son of man will give you who is given eternal life. Jesus not grace not faith Jesus gives eternal life. Now he drops the bomb. I am the living bread. I am the food me Jesus I am the bread which came down from heaven. I was in heaven and I came down and I lived in this physical body verse 51.

Scripture (NKJV)

John 6:27 (NKJV)

Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

What does eating His flesh mean?

▶ Watch this part (48:29)

Short answer: Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 48:29 Powerful. Whoever eats my flesh. My flesh is food and drinks my blood my blood is spiritual food has eternal life possesses eternal life not believing for eternal life not hoping for eternal life they possess eternal life and part of that possessing of eternal life is you know God and Jesus Christ his son you know you’re going to heaven you know you have eternal life you know him you you never think about you don’t even consider that if you died today you’re going to go to. Hell. And I will raise him up in the last days you know.

▶ 49:25 When Jesus returns you’re coming out of that. Grave. And you’re going to inherit that eternal life with Jesus Christ on a new heaven on a new heaven and a new earth. Jesus folks is not replaced by grace faith and no works and I want to repeat it till the day I die grace faith no works which a lot of the fundamentalists preach grace alone saves you no Jesus alone saves you Jesus alone saves you. Hallelujah. Jesus alone is eternal life and we labor.

▶ 50:17 To find him and maintain him. We got to put some effort into this we got to put some work into this to have Jesus and maintain Jesus in our life. Jesus goes on I mean he is dropping the bomb. And he’s talking to this part of the multitudes. That are following him for the wrong reasons he makes it very clear. He says my flesh is food indeed my body. And my blood is drink indeed without the shedding of blood there’s what no forgiveness redemption of sin. In the communion table we partake of that and show forth his death till he comes but we also.

▶ 51:11 Can spiritually partake of Jesus the bread of life. Amen. The Bible says we are bought with a price. That bloodshed that flesh dying. We are bought with a price we are not our own people are constantly telling me salvation is free and I’m constantly telling them no it is not. And they look at me like. Are you on planet earth. Jesus. Died to pay the payment for our salvation. If he died to pay the payment for our redemption then redemption is not free. Is that an amen.

What did His death activate?

▶ Watch this part (52:05)

Short answer: A will — an inheritance of eternal life, wisdom, the Holy Ghost and more.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 52:05 He paid the price for us and with that death he activated a will. A will is an inheritance. And we can activate the will a will can have. Accountability. It can have rules to follow before you get the inheritance you got to do this that and the other and his will he says you’ve got to confess your sins repent from your sins. For him to cleanse you from all unrighteousness and forgive your sin isn’t that amen that’s in his will. If you don’t do this you don’t get the inheritance.

▶ 53:01 In his will you’ve got to accept Jesus as the Lord of your life the Lord the nations the Lord of the church the Lord of the principalities and powers of darkness he is the supreme ruler over everything including your life. If we confess Jesus Christ is Lord we will be saved from our sin. This is in the will. So you’ve got to do something don’t you. It also says to as many as receive him to them gave he power to become sons of God so I’ve got to accept Jesus in my life so I have the power. To live for him because by this you know that you know God if you keep his laws amen and so I need the power of Christ in me to what obey his laws and eternal.

▶ 54:00 Life is not the only thing you inherit. There is wisdom to inherit there is the baptism of the Holy Ghost power to inherit there is understanding to inherit. There there is divine healing part of your inheritance you don’t have to give up because you’re sick and dying you have in his will a chance for God the great physician to come and heal you these are all part of the inheritance and why don’t many people have these things in their life and in the church is because we’re not putting any labor in these people are telling us not of works and if you do any kind of work to to get more of God and to find God then uh you know you you you’re a sinner.

▶ 54:57 And they forget that God is moving outside of America in Nigeria alone the biggest seated building in the world the biggest seated building is in Nigeria 50 000 people and they’re building a new one because the 50 000 won’t hold them to seat a hundred thousand. And people are getting saved and people are meeting with God they’re only getting not only getting eternal life they’re getting other parts of the inheritance in korea you have the largest church in the world almost a half a million people belong to it folks America is not the source of the gospel anymore the nation south of the equator and asia pacific is sending missionaries and God is moving there and we’re over here with our religious nonsense arguing back and forth we need Jesus he is eternal life and him alone can I hear an amen.

▶ 55:59 And until we get back to Jesus. We’re not going to see much happening in America. So God is asking you today. Why do you follow Jesus. So you can get rich. So you can feel good about yourself. Why are you following Jesus. So you look like a Christian go to church. Is the church just a place of entertainment with music singing groups minds dramas. Self-help programs. Are you out there folks.

Hebrews 9:16-17 (NKJV)

Why do you follow Jesus?

▶ Watch this part (56:57)

Short answer: Only when you need something — for entertainment or prosperity — or because you want Him?

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 56:57 Why do we follow Jesus do you only follow him when you need something. Your marriage is breaking up and you need help and God helps you and then you leave him. You’re following Jesus because you have a problem with drug abuse. And once you get cleaned up you leave him and go back to the vomit. Are you following Jesus you come to church to get a spouse or you come to church to find people that are married that have kids like you do so you can socialize with them why do you follow Jesus. I’m listing these things because that’s why most Americans go to church they have a place to fit in they’re an usher or they’re a musician or something so they go they’re not looking for Jesus they’re not finding Jesus and they’re not looking for a greater.

▶ 57:52 Inheritance. Now that’s a place for a good amen. Just entertainment or they want to prosper. They want a better job. Are you following him and laboring for him and for eternal life. Now. Here is. The multitudes response. Here’s what many of them said to Jesus Christ God in the flesh right there they saw his miracles they saw how he took five loaves and two fishes and fed fifteen thousand people and this is their reply.

▶ 58:51 When Jesus said I am. Eternal life I am the food. My blood. And if you don’t get involved with me. You don’t have eternal life. This is a hard saying. Who can hear it well the rest of the multitude we’re hearing it. Do you remember the rest of the multitude they believed he was the son of God they believed he was the prophet they believed he was the messiah they believed he was the king these guys they’re just looking for entertainment and something they can get out of God just what can God do for me not what I can do for God. Many of his disciples these are pupils of Christ they had taken a step to learn and all this went back and walked no more with him.

▶ 59:54 Because Jesus said I am. Eternal life. I am the bread that came down from heaven you got to seek me you got to find me. And they wanted to stay religious. Jews. Remember it’s not all. That said this it was just many. Okay. Many believed as I said. They confessed they repented for forgiveness of sin. And Jesus also in verse 35 drops another bomb.

Short answer: He who comes to Me shall never hunger.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:00:48 He that comes to me shall never hunger wow. He that comes to me but never hunger they didn’t want to come to Jesus they wanted his healing they wanted the food they wanted what they could get out of him but they did not want Jesus. He that comes to me shall never hunger here is the labor we got to come to him. We got to come to him we got to put an effort in seeking him and finding him that’s the labor he’s the food he’s the bread he’s eternal life and so when we come to him and we partake of Christ we no longer hunger. For eternal life. We hunger for him of course. It’s good to still have a a.

▶ 1:01:43 Hunger for Christ so you go back and keep going back amen but we’re never starving. We’re never without life he that believes on me shall never thirst. And this is what Jesus said to the woman at the well you drink of the waters of eternal life that I will give you and you will never thirst again. I am eternal life that woman believed it and spread the gospel all around and hundreds of others came and accepted Christ. And the Bible says this is eternal life that you may know God and Jesus Christ his son you may know him. And this by this the Bible says you know that you know Christ if you keep his laws.

▶ 1:02:36 And these people that say we’re not under laws don’t understand. The Bible because they don’t come to Christ for the answers he’s the revealer of truth not your human brain. He is revealer of truth. We’re not under shadow laws we don’t sacrifice animals anymore we don’t burn incense and wear a certain clothing and all that anymore those were as Colossians says a shadow of good things to come the good things are here. We have Jesus who did the one sacrifice for everything we have worship and praise and prayer that ascends up unto God we don’t need incense we just pray we just worship we just praise him. Amen.

▶ 1:03:34 We got to there’s only two ways to have eternal life. Jesus is saying this one is one way you’ve got to come to Jesus and partake of Jesus the other one is in Romans chapter 2 verse 12 they that have not heard of God’s law yet in their conscience understand it and obey it they will have life on the day of judgment. That’s the only two ways to get it if you’ve never heard of Jesus you can get in by living right. But once you heard him if that is your conscience you will embrace him. Because he’s going to back up your conscience. No grace no faith you can’t have faith in your faith.

Can you cover everything with grace?

▶ Watch this part (1:04:29)

Short answer: No; keep coming to Jesus, seeking His word, worship and prayer.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor David G. Kincer

▶ 1:04:29 You can’t cover everything with grace. Jesus is the savior Jesus is eternal life and alone. This is the work of God as the musicians come that you believe on him. Whom God has sent this is the work belief is a work. Thing not of works list any man should boast belief is a work why because if I believe in Jesus I will obey him and that takes work. It took work for me to get up this morning and take a shower and and get dressed to come to church and it takes work for somebody to come and have the sanctuary ready and the musicians are prepared and all of this and you and your homes and and through the week we pray that God moves in the service it takes work it takes effort can I hear an amen.

▶ 1:05:34 So what labor. We’ve got to come to Jesus and we’ve got to keep coming what labor is it well assemble yourself together. Even more so as you see the day approaching to encourage one another to love into good works assembling together takes work. A lot of Christians in America won’t even go to church they just criticize it and as God told me as a young Christian if you’re going to criticize the church you get involved and help change the church could that be an amen. Anybody can sit back and criticize and you can find a lot of things to criticize about. Pray worship and praise that’s work lifting your hands takes work lifting your voice takes work getting on your knees and seeking God takes work doesn’t it.

▶ 1:06:35 But that’s how we partake of Jesus that’s how we eat of his body drink of his blood drink of the waters of life. Read and study the Bible. Only 15 percent of Christians read. Less than that study when the Bible plainly says study to show thyself approved a workman rightly dividing the word of truth they don’t study and if they do study they get a Christian book somewhere. Somebody wrote instead of getting down their knees opening that book up and saying Holy Spirit guide me into all truth Jesus open my understanding to this book. Someone this week told me that I was wrong about angels that they had read angel angelology book and I was all wrong I said I don’t need no angelology book I got the Bible.

▶ 1:07:35 And I don’t need no books on demons because I by witnessing encountered demons and had to find an answer and I went to the Bible and found an answer and cast out demons I don’t need a book to tell me these things I need the book. From beginning to end that tells me about Jesus Christ the son of God the messiah. Amen. I need the book and I need the Holy Ghost and Jesus opening my understanding to that. Book. Tithing. A lot of people don’t believe in tithing yet tithing the Bible says. We bring it in so that there’s food in my house the apostles had to have support to get the word out Jesus had to have support to get the word out what is your problem and the biggest thing about tithing is Jesus said if you’re not faithful in the little thing of money I can’t give you the true riches.

▶ 1:08:39 Wow. So when you don’t believe in tithing you don’t believe in giving you’re stopping your inheritance of the other riches of God are you out there church. This is a test sign. Jesus did this sign to test his apostles to test his followers. And he’s testing us today. And we’ve got to share the word and be a light to the world by the fruit of repentance. The fruit of repentance we got to bring forth the fruit of repentance. Amen. And the only way to do that is by the power of Jesus Christ working in our life. Serving Christ is impossible in the natural man you’ve got to have the spiritual man.

▶ 1:09:39 So today Jesus is asking us. Why are you following me. Are you following me because you want me you want eternal life. Are you following me for other reasons. And so whether we are Christian or whether we are an unbeliever. We need to ask ourselves are we following Jesus. And we need to pray. The prayer that the sinner prayed. Lord be merciful to me a sinner Lord be merciful to me an unbeliever. And if you’re a Christian you pray Lord be merciful to me a believer. Could that be an amen and then you confess your sins.

▶ 1:10:36 You let him cleanse you of those sin you pronounce him as. Lord. And you receive him anew and afresh in an expanded way into your life Christian. Unbeliever and as we sing I have decided to follow Jesus if you’re willing to pray that sinner’s prayer Lord be merciful to me a believer that has verbally abused people physically hurt people. Hurt my dead things to hurt myself Lord be merciful to me a believer be merciful to me an unbeliever. If you’ll decide to. Serve Jesus and follow Jesus will you stand with me wherever you’re at on facebook wherever you’re at in the sanctuary let’s stand as acknowledgement yes I’ve decided to follow.

▶ 1:11:38 Jesus. To. Follow. Jesus. To follow. Jesus. I am. Decided. No turning. The cross before me the cross be the world behind. Me.

▶ 1:12:37 The cross before. Me. The world. Behind me. No turning back. No turning back though none go with. Me. Still I will fall.

▶ 1:13:37 Though not go with me. Still I will fall. No turning back. No turning. Just. We’re going to pray as a group. We’re going to ask Jesus to be merciful to us a sinner. A believer or an unbeliever and whatever you’re at that’s the word you put in at the end. Just repeat after me Lord be merciful to me a believer now we’ve got to say it loud or not God wants to hear it he’s way up there in heaven Lord be merciful to me a believer.

▶ 1:14:39 I confess that I have violated your moral laws. Forgive me. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Of all the verbal. All the physical mistreatment. I’ve done to others. And even myself. I pronounce that you. Jesus. Are my Lord. My supreme ruler. The authority over my life. The authority over the church. The kingdom of men. And the kingdom of darkness.

▶ 1:15:31 You’re the Lord of all of them. And I asked you Jesus. To come live in me. And give me the power. To become a child of God. Obeying your laws. From the power of knowing you. Thank you father thank you for hearing our prayer. You cannot lie. So you have forgiven us you have cleansed us and you’ve empowered us. Thank you. Amen. Let’s sing Jesus all for Jesus. Jesus.

▶ 1:16:27 Yes. Oh for Jesus [unclear] I’m for Jesus. I give you everything. Oh. Lord. Oh Lord. Jesus. All I. Am. It’s only in your will. Your will.

▶ 1:17:28 Am free. Jesus. Oh for. Jesus. Ambitions. All of my ambitions hopes and plans. I. Surrender. Into your hands. All of my.

▶ 1:18:24 I. Surrender thee. Into your just play just play. As the musicians play. Let’s spend some time in prayer asking God to reveal to us a fresh every day a new every day. That Jesus Christ is the messiah. The son of the living God the Christ. To reveal every day eternal life of knowing him. Of making us a child of God that obeys his laws father we lift up our voices unto you right now.

▶ 1:19:23 Those of us who have been walking with you for decades and those of us are just brand new today. We acknowledge our need for Jesus Christ. We acknowledge Jesus that you are everlasting life. That your blood your death on the cross your shedding of your blood cleanses us from sin. That you are the mediator between us and God. That we come to you father by Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. We thank you for your grace we thank you for putting faith in us from hearing the word. We thank you Lord that we don’t have to do any of our own works. To be saved and to have eternal life but Lord we thank you it’s imperative that we do your work.

▶ 1:20:22 To partake of Jesus. To seek his word to worship him to praise him to. Pray unto him. To go to church to pay our tithes to do these things war in obedience to you. Thank you Lord Jesus. Lord we pray for every church in America that you come. And get us back to Jesus. The one who is eternal life who is the food of eternal life. Jesus. Come. To your church throughout the world. And Lord we pray for America. Lord America is in a socialist revolution.

▶ 1:21:19 And Lord right now it’s mostly verbal but there is some violence involved by Black Lives Matter antifa. And these others that are burning businesses. Destroying civil properties. Lord we need help in this socialist revolution. Father most of your people don’t even understand we’re in a revolution in America. They don’t understand that socialism hates Christ and hates christianity and in their manifesto they want to do away with it oh they tolerate us but they don’t want us having any voice they don’t want us having any expression no involvement in this. Nation Lord we ask you to open the eyes of your people.

▶ 1:22:14 God turn us back to Jesus Christ. Not only for eternal life but Lord for all the inheritance that you promised us you promised that we could be filled with the Holy Ghost and power to be a witness for you you promised us wisdom from above. Lord to be like the children of Israel who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do Lord there’s so much to inherit in you and your church Lord is only satisfied with faith and grace and eternal life we have no power anymore. When we speak the word isn’t spoken with power. That pricks the hearts of people convicts the hearts of people.

▶ 1:23:07 Lord Jesus we need all of your inheritance and we pray for the church in America to wake up to the political. Revolution that’s going on that could really bring tremendous persecution to your church and we pray Lord for a revolution in the churches of Jesus Christ let him arise and let his enemies be scattered in the name of Jesus father we pray let God arise and let his enemies be. Scattered. Let it be done.

▶ 1:24:05 Jesus Christ. Jesus your will your will. I. Am free. Let’s give a clap offering to the Lord of the earth the Lord of the church the Lord of the nation oh the Lord of the prince of power to the power the ah the name above every name is the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth the son of the living God a name that every knee will bow is Jesus Christ of Nazareth the son of the living God.
