They just weren’t praying 24 hours a day and there’s no indication that they didn’t sleep. ▶ 6:19 On the tenth day at six o’clock in the morning. 6 o’clock in the morning a mighty rushing wind came in to the house tongues of fire set up on each one of them so they saw they heard just like Jesus did they were sitting down so obviously the word of God was being preached because that’s what happened in Jewish assembly is is when the word of God go forth they were sitting down all right just like you are today doing doing nothing out of the ordinary just sitting there listening to the word of God all right the house was filled not just the people the house was filled they were in the upper room the bottom room the the courtyard and everything else was filled with this mighty wind and this presence of God the galilean spoke 15 languages the only group of people that were in the upper room at that time was from Galilee.

▶ 7:25 That was 80 miles away they came down and they were in there waiting for the promise of the father people in Jerusalem weren’t even there the Galileans 80 miles away spoke 15 different languages now at 9 a.m. Three hours later there were over 3,000 people gathered around that house. They heard the Bible says the sound they saw the tongues of fire they heard these people speaking in their languages the mighty works of God then peters then they were gone how can this be how can this be and so Peter stood up to answer their question and he says this is that that was promised by the prophet Joel that in the last days I’ll pour out my spirit on all flesh and he began to preach a sermon to them and he told him you killed the king of kings you killed the messiah who came to die for you and when he got done the people said what must we do and he says admit you’re wrong turn from your own for the remission of sin and be water baptized be water baptized admit your own and repent from your sin and you will be forgiven delivered and set free from your sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost so 3,000 people responded instantly

▶ 8:56 they had a megachurch in three hours they had a megachurch okay and all 3,000 were baptized that day. Now. The next day and the day after and the day after and the day after and the day after and the day after and day after and the day after the Lord added to the church this thing didn’t just stop that first day the Lord added to the church did you get that it wasn’t some gimmick it wasn’t some little church program that tent to get on the church membership row the Lord came transformed people touch people birthed them again in the spirit and he added them to the judge. Did you get that church we got all kinds of methods to get people into the church but only God can add to the church that’s why you must be born again all right thousands met in the temple court they the only place they could meet was in the temple the temple had a outer court a Gentile a court of the Gentiles that would hold it’s about 35 acres large it would hold thousands of people so they went there to meet and that’s where the Jewish religion headquarters was.

▶ 10:21 And they were in the temple court in the Jewish headquarters praising God I’ll tell you if you get filled with the Holy Ghost you will praise God the Holy Ghost won’t let you stand there like I’m not on a lock you will pray he will move you to pray you will a symbol to church he will move you to go to church and edify the body of Christ not tear it down the Holy Ghost will move you because the Holy Ghost is a power to do what God said to do and he won’t lighten up on you all right. You’ll read and study the word that’s why in my pentecostal circles when I saw people speaking in tongues and they had no desire for the word I questioned where they really were baptized in the Holy Ghost I did I go how can you say you’re baptized in Holy Ghost you don’t even read the word.

They sold their investments and gave to the needy believers they never gave outside the church nowhere in the New Testament do you find them giving welfare and arms outside the church. That is something to think of they continued in the apostles doctrine not the Jewish doctrine not the Sadducees doctor not the Pharisees doctor not the herodians doctrine not the grecians doctrine and not the pagan doctrines they continued in what the apostles doctrines who got it straight from professor Jesus.

And they continued in fellowship and this word fellowship is much stronger than word fellowship it means partnership they united together and stayed daily united together for the purposes of God. Very powerful word it’s called koinonia and the breaking of bread the communion table which we will be taken shortly and they ate their bread from house to house they were in unity one accord signs and wonders followed daily fear on every soul and favor with all the people wow. Wow now this same thing happened on a zuza street at the beginning of the 1900s a black man by the name of now forgot his name. Huh anyway one eye and he would put his head and thus in a crate box and he’d start praying and God would start moving when blacks were not allowed to rule over white’s.

▶ 13:20 Because they had services when God began to move they had services from early morning to late at night they’d go home and sleep and they’d get up the next day and they’d start again and God was just touching people saving people things were happening so he had women designated as leaders in the church when women were not supposed to be ruling over men boy it does God know how to shake things up huh are you there. And the interesting thing is and I’ve heard testimonies I’ve read a lot of stories about this I’ve heard eyewitness testimonies that were there and they said yes teenagers as well as adults would speak in the languages of those coming off the boats into America the immigrants whether they were Jews whether they were russian where they were german whether they were asians no matter what they would speak in languages and those people could understand what they were saying and they were telling those people about Jesus and salvation in that powerful the same thing happened there on Azusa street and healings were done not necessarily laying on of hands and all that just for the presence of God but just come and heal somebody are you there we had a second.

▶ 14:36 Pentecost in the early 1900’s and thousands by the way that were there for the feast of Pentecost went back to their native homeland there their nation their nationality with this experience in God and that’s what happened at Azusa people came from all over the world to see what was going on at Azusa street and then they would take that visitation back to their church and when they did they got kicked out. That’s a truth read your history when they told him what God was doing in all this and they experience that people kicked them out so they had to start their own church their own denominations and that’s you get the church of God the assemblies of God the foursquare church and so forth.
