Daniel 8’s little horn cast down stars, trampled them, cast truth to the ground and prospered. God deals with such powers in every generation. The 2,300 days is about 6.3 years; no one knows the final day. In 70 AD Titus destroyed Jerusalem, as Jesus foretold.

What does Daniel 8 add?

▶ Watch this part (0:00)

Short answer: More about the little horn—God does talk and guide, though it took years to understand.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 0:00 Okay, in Daniel chapter 8, we’re going to see more about the little horn. And I got a couple of pictures there. The last horn we talked about in the last chapter, and then the little horn is going to be talked about in this chapter. Okay? And this is the famous chapter about the transgression of desolation. There are more theories than you can shake a stick out. More charts, more prophetic prophecies on this chapter along with Revelation. They try to pull them together. Uh so I was fortunate when I was a young Christian, it’s good to be baptized in the Holy Ghost because the Holy Spirit came to me and said, “Listen, don’t teach in Revelations until I tell you to. Don’t even study it. Just read it.” And that was one of the smartest things that it that’s why the Holy Ghost is so important.

▶ 0:55 He does talk to you. He does guide you. And uh so it was several years before God even let me think about it. But by that time by reading the Bible and hearing a lot of teaching, I was ready to hear what God said. Are you ready to hear what the Bible says? All right. Daniel’s vision in the third year of Belshazzar. Daniel chapter 8 verses 1-2. There’s a two-horn ram. He saw a two-horn ram with the last horn higher than the other. Now, that is a natural phenomenon. I got a picture of one on the screen there. So, he he it wasn’t an abnormal thing he saw. It’s just one came up later and it was higher. Then he saw this horn pushing, this ram with the two horns pushing west, north, and south, not east.

▶ 1:54 And no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hands, but he did according to his will, and he became great. Then they saw a onehorn hegoat, a male goat in the air. Man, this guy is flying. You know, it’s a wonder somebody hadn’t interpret that the the prophetic fulfillment of the airplane guy. You know, it’s it’s just a wonder. I’ve heard some crazy prophecies. This uh one-horned heo came from the west and smoked the ram in anger and broke its two horns. When this one horn was strong, it was broken and replaced by four other horns.

▶ 2:48 Verse eight, there were four noble horns. These four noble horns were toward the four winds of heaven. Now, out of one of the four horns came a what? Little horn. Here we go again. Chapter 7 had a little horn. Chapter eight has a little horn. Which waxed exceedingly great toward the south, the east, and Israel, the pleasant land. The little horn waxed great to the host of heaven. It cast down. The word some is added there for clarification, but it’s not in the scriptures.

And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land.

What did the horn do?

▶ Watch this part (3:41)

Short answer: Cast down some of the host and stars, stamped on them, cast truth to the ground, practiced and prospered.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 3:41 It cast of the host and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them. Yay. Verse 11. So, we’re going to give you four things that the little horn was allowed to do. Okay? Four things. He was exalted to the host of heaven, brought down some of the host of heaven, and yes, he the little horn magnified. And it the himself is not in the original scriptures. They’ve added it there for clarification. That’s why it’s in italics. He was magnified even to the prince of the host. And remember we just read that he cast down of the host.

▶ 4:34 Right? So that’s number one. He was allowed to magnify be magnified to the prince of the host and cast down of the host. Now number two by the little horn the daily and the word sacrifice is not in the scriptures. Okay, it’s added for clarification. Daily is continual. All right, there are some things that continually happen in the Bible. Are you with me so far? This is important stuff. You know, we we get a picture of things without thoroughly examining what’s really there. All right. The daily was taken away. Okay. The continuous something continuously was taken away.

▶ 5:26 All right? And the place of his sanctuary was cast down. His means the prince of the host. The place of the prince of the host sanctuary where the prince of the host dwelt. Sanctuary is a dwelling place. It’s cast down. Okay, that’s number three. Verse 12. A host was given the little horn against the daily by reason of transgression. Here we go. Here is that famous scripture about transgression which simply means rebellion or revolt, sin, disobeying God. And it casts down the truth to the ground.

▶ 6:17 Number four, it cast the truth to the ground. It practiced and it prospered or it achieved, it accomplished things and prospered. So the little horn is allowed to do four things. Why? Because of transgression. In Genesis 15:16, in the fourth generation, Israel shall come here again back to Canaan land. For the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. The Canaanites, Israel was promised to inherit Canaan land. They had to go into Egypt for 400 years. And God is telling them why. You’re going to go down into Egypt 400 years before you come in and judge Canaan land. Conquer it. Because their sin has not reached maturity yet.

▶ 7:10 It has not reached the place where I will judge it yet. Do you understand that? Hallelujah. See, their transgressions hasn’t come to the place where I will deal with them. He still gives them 400 years to what? Repent and change. Does the Bible say God’s a patient God? His mercy endures forever. Okay. See, but what we understand here, the transgression had not come to a full yet. So, Israel had to wait. They were going to be the ones that were going to God was going to use to deal with this nation. In Matthew 13:30, we all know the Sunday school story of the tears and the wheat.

▶ 8:03 Jesus interprets it and says, “Let both grow together till the harvest.” And the harvest, he says, is the end of the age, end of the time. Then I will say to the reapers, gather first the tears. The tears, Jesus said, were the children of the wicked one. Okay? Gather them, bind them, and burn them. Now, how many of you don’t want to be in that package? Yeah. You don’t want to burn. Yeah. Yeah. There’s a there’s a lake of fire going. You’re going to burn forever. You don’t want to be in that. You don’t want to be a tear. But he said, “Gather the wheat.” And he said the wheat was the children of the kingdom into my barn into my place. Okay. So there is a time when God says that the sins of the world will come to a maturity come to a completeness and he will deal with it.

Scripture in this part

Scripture (NKJV)

Daniel 8:10-12 (NKJV)

And it grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled them. He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.

— Daniel 8:10-12 (NKJV)▶ Hear it at 3:41

When does God deal with it?

▶ Watch this part (9:00)

Short answer: In every generation, not only the end time.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 9:00 So he deals with it before the end time. He deals with it in every generation and he will deal with it independently as an individual, as a family and as a group. Why? Because he wants to bring you back to right. He wants to bring you back to himself. Amen. Now, so transgression is the reason for the four things being done. Okay. Now, why did God use Babylon and Rome to conquer Israel and take the Jews into captivity and slavery? Because of say the word. Transgression. They rebelled against God. They revolted against God. They disobeyed God. And God told him beforehand in Deuteronomy, he said, “You’re going to disobey me and you’re going to go into captivity.” And that’s exactly what happened.

▶ 9:57 And then they went into captivity again when in the Roman Empire. See, they were carried away slaves and into captivity, the Jews. And both was for what reason? Transgression. Okay. Isn’t that simple so far? Yeah. See, America, if American Christians don’t believe that God is a father that will correct us, they are out of their mind. Any decent father will correct his children. All right? They can reject the correction, but he will correct. Why? A good father wants the best for his children. So he has to find ways to get their attention to don’t do what is wrong to do right.

▶ 10:48 And how many know the best father is God? Yes. Hallelujah. Now so here we are. The little horn is allowed to do how many things? Four. For what reason? Transgression. Number one, he’s going to wax himself to the host of heaven, magnified to the prince of the host, and cast some of the hosts down, the host of the prince of the host. Going to cast down some of the host. Number two, he’s going to take away the daily whatever we’re going to say daily sacrifice because that’s part of it. All right? And he’s going to cast down the place of his sanctuary.

▶ 11:40 And he’s going to cast down truth. And if we know these four things and why, we will know the vision. Could you say an amen to that? Hallelujah. How many want to know the vision? Yeah. I’m curious. Now, the vision will be accomplished. All right. Then I heard one saint speaking to another saint. Boy, is that that ever true? Saints love to talk to saints. You know what I mean? They like to think they really know the Bible and they know God’s mind and they just yap all the time and they’re always yapping about the the jot and titles of the word. Do you ever notice that? You know, they go right by love God, love your neighbor as yourself, love the brethren.

▶ 12:35 They go right into all this stuff that they magnify and make something out of that’s really nothing. And here they are. I mean, this is a good part of the vision. Saint talking to saint. How many you know that’s one of the big problems we have in America today is Christians talking to Christians. Yeah. Like they know everything. And what are they concerned about? They’re not concerned about the four things. They’re not concerned about the transgression. They’re concerned about the timing. When is this going to happen? How long? The vision shall be is there added for your clarity. The vision concerning concerning is added for your clarity. So how long the vision of the daily the continuous sacrifice or whatever?

▶ 13:29 They’re not worried about the transgression of desolation. And they’re not worried about this prince of the host being uh or the host of the prince of the host being kept. They’re just what’s the timing? What’s the timing? Is it in our lifetime? You know what? What? What? When’s it going to happen? Isn’t that American Christian? Oh, yeah. And they wanted to know this transgression, what timing is, which is revolt and sin, of the desolation, destruction. They want to know the timing of the sanctuary and the host being trotten down. All right. And so the answer was 2,300 days. Then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. Lord have mercy. The sanctuary is going to be cleansed in 6.3 years.

How long?

▶ Watch this part (14:22)

Short answer: 2,300 days—about 6.3 years, not seven; no one knows the day, only the Father.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 14:22 I love it. Not seven. Not seven years. 6 point what? Whatever that means. And when I say whatever that means, it’s because the Bible doesn’t tell us what it means. And when the Bible doesn’t tell us what it means, what you interpret it to be is just beans. Hey, that was good. Means and beans. Ah, but I they’re always there, so I didn’t have to worry about it. I got on the internet and sure enough, I found a guy that knew the meaning of the 2,000 and I mean the uh yeah, the meaning of the 2300 days.

▶ 15:22 He says the 2300 days is really 2300 years. Well, isn’t that wonderful? So Jesus being in the grave three and a half days was really three and a half thousand years or three and a half uh 350 years or whatever. Are you there? You can’t just do that. Okay, days mean years. So, he’s in the he was in the grave three and a half years, I should say. No, he was in the grave three and a half days. And this cleansing is going to take 6.3 years or 2,300 days. All right? But they’re always there. So he’s calculated it that from the time that the temple was desecrated by one of the kings, 2300 days, Jesus is going to come and end everything in what year?

▶ 16:26 2025. Man, we got 13 more years to go and then poof. And how many you know when 2025 comes and goes, this guy’s going to be wrong. And they always project these things far enough ahead to get you all anticipated and all worked up and we they get our money and they get our following and everything and then 12 years goes by and kapoot. How many you know last year a guy predicted he would come last year. And the day came and went. Yeah. Any idiot can read the Bible. First time I read through the Bible, I understood. Nobody knows. I mean, it didn’t take a brain. You know, I didn’t have to graduate from college and go to Bible seminar to understand that.

▶ 17:21 Nobody knows. He says it twice. Jesus said, “I don’t even know. Only the father knows.” And yet all these self-imposed prophets got it all figured out. Are you there? Transgression of desolation. Okay, let me just give you a little scriptural amplification on desolation. Every kingdom, Jesus said, divided against itself is brought to what? Desolation. Every city or every family divided against itself shall not what? Stand. A desolation. What do we got in America? We got a divided nation. We got a divided church. We got a divided home. And we got destruction.

▶ 18:17 We got 40 veral diseases when we used to have in the 50s only three up to the 50s. Now we got 40 because of the sexual revolution. And God’s trying to get their attention and no one’s saying anything about it. You got over a million people a year dying from AIDS alone throughout the world. It’s an epidemic. Is it families? 40% of families have kids that are with a single parent. 40% don’t have two parents. There’s something wrong. See when we are divided on what is right and what is wrong we are going to bring destruction to oursel but the right will what? Prosper. Are you there?

▶ 19:13 Hallelujah. So we got to know what right is not what we think it is but what God says it is. Matthew 13:12. Now, watch this closely. I’m going to This is a heavy revy here. You ready? Jesus is talking and they just ask him about the temple being destroyed or you know that Jesus told him this temple is going to be destroyed. They want to know when the temple was going to be destroyed and about the end time. He asked him three questions. And so he answers and says, “Brother shall betray brother to death, father the son, children their parents, you’ll be hated of all men for my name’s sake.” See, if you choose to serve God and do what’s right, it’s going to affect your family members. They’re going to not like you.

What happened in 70 AD?

▶ Watch this part (20:06)

Short answer: Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the temple and carried off the candlestick—Jesus knew how to interpret scripture.

From the sermonTranscript of this part · Pastor Kincer

▶ 20:06 You’re judgmental. That’s a famous word in our gener. Judge not, lest you be not judged. Don’t be so judgmental. Well, what am I supposed to do? Sit here and act stupid? You know, you run a stop sign, you can have an accident. Isn’t that right? But I’m supposed to sit there and say nothing. Okay, son. You want to run a stop sign? Run them all. You know, it’s your choice. No, you got to pass a judgment on that, don’t you? And if somebody wants to sin, there’s going to be a repercussion, a penalty to pay. You want to tell them, isn’t that right? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. And so families divide. When someone decides to do right, there’s a division in the family. Married couples can be divided. You know, you can get married and light this two candles into one all you want, but the unity Oh, it’s true.

▶ 21:06 We think symbols is where the power is. America’s into symbols,. You know. Give me a symbol. Don’t give me the real thing. Give me a symbol. Can you imagine them seals going over there to get uh uh what’s his name? Bin Laden with toy guns. A symbol of the real thing instead of the real thing. Huh? The military don’t want symbols. They want the real thing. The church should want the real thing. Wow, that was good. And the Catholic hides behind lighting candles and holy water and incense and things that do nothing. It’s not even in the Bible. St. Peter, St. Christopher, St. Timothy. Ain’t you don’t pray to anybody but who?

▶ 21:59 Jesus Christ. He’s the only mediator. That includes Mary. She got no special place with Jesus. We all are special to him. Amen. And and the Protestants are no different. The Catholics go to confession and talk to a priest. We just talk in the closet to the air. Lord forgive me. And we go right back and sin again. But he that endures to the end to the goal to the purpose shall be saved. What’s the purpose? When you see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet. Now Jesus is going to tell us what the abomination of desolation is. What the transgression of desolation is? He’s going to tell us. Now how many know Jesus can interpret?

▶ 22:56 Abraham should have shot up. Forget these prophets. Jesus knows how to interpret scripture. Let him that reads understand. That’s the problem. The Bible says they’re forever learning and never coming to the recognition of the truth. You know, we can quote scripture and we don’t know beans about possessing what we’re quoting. That’s why we like symbols instead of the real thing. Has God got your attention today? Isn’t this good? Let them that be where in the end time in America. Let them that be where? Flee Judea to the mountains. Now you got this.

▶ 23:48 Family betraying family, children, their parents. Hated of all men. Okay, we’re going to go to Luke. Same story, same interpretation, only more clear. You will be betrayed by parents, brethren, kinfolk, friends, and some will be put to death. Now, we can use the word some over in Daniel. And it was legal. Some of the host, some of God’s people. See, not every one of us. Hallelujah. See, now some can fit into that verse back there because Jesus clarified it. Now, you’ll be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

▶ 24:41 Is it the same story? Is he relating to the same story about the temple, about the sec the end time and so forth? Yeah. Now watch when you see Jerusalem compassed about with armies, then know that the desolation is nigh. Now over in Mark and Matthew, it says the abomination of desolation. But in Luke, he just simply tells us what it is and what is it? Jerusalem circled by armies. The desolation is at hand. The abomination of desolation. Now, even these young ones can understand that Jesus is very clear. There’s no question about it.

▶ 25:37 So, in 70 AD, guess what happened? Titus came with his soldiers because there was a rebellion in Judah, in Jerusalem. And in a little over four years, he destroyed Jerusalem, slaughtered over a million Jews. And the funny thing is, there were no Christians there. Why wasn’t there no Christians there? They understood what Jesus said. They had all fleed. They had all ran to other places, sold their property, got out of there because they believed Jesus was the Messiah. They believe what Jesus said. And so religious Jews is what was left in Jerusalem. Folks, that is something. See, the early church understood this stuff.

▶ 26:36 He says, “Let those in Judea flee to the mountain.” Same thing. “Let them in the midst of it depart out. These be the days of vengeance. The abomination of desolation, the desolation of transgressions is the day of what? Vengeance. The day of indignation. The ve of God’s anger when he deals with people that rebel through transgression. And it’s his people he’s dealing with. Hallelujah. I told you a father will discipline his son children. A good one will. A lousy father will just let them do what they want. A real father wants their child to grow up and be responsible. A lousy father don’t care if their child just gets tattoos and earrings and whatever and rock music and party and marijuana and and alcohol out and drugs, you know, but a real father won’t do that.

▶ 27:43 Can I hear an amen? They’ll do everything they can to keep that child on the straight and narrow. Now, when that child gets older, they can do what they want, but you can’t blame daddy, can you? And neither can you blame God that all things written may be fulfilled. Hallelujah. There will be great distress in the land, wrath upon his people. They shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive unto all nations and Jerusalem shall be trotten down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentile be fulfilled. Now, if you know your history that you learned in public school, which they don’t teach, right? So, I know you didn’t learn it. All they teach you in public school is a bunch of nonsense about history. But here is the truth. Titus came in with the Roman army.

▶ 28:35 He destroyed Jerusalem, tore down the temple, carried off the candlestick and the altar and everything, and took it back to Rome. He slaughtered just butchered Jews that tried to surrender or got overw butchered them. And then he took 95,000 into slavery, the abomination of desolation. God getting vengeance on those who rebel against him. And you think he’s just going to stick with the Jews? Yeah. Look in the mirror. He’s after you, too.

▶ 29:28 He wants you to be a good boy, a good girl. Can I hear an old me or something? Ah. Now you know that since Titus did that, the Jews have not been a been doing daily sacrifices. They have been not they haven’t done anything. No temple, no rituals. And yet they tenaciously hold on to it expecting the temple to be rebuilt. And Protestants are in on the bandwagon that a temple is going to be built over there in Jerusalem. And oh man, that’s a just wait till we’re done today. God isn’t interested in temples. He’s interested in people. Always has been.
